Get well soon. Are you sure that you caught Covid on Saturday? Would it show in a test the next day? Genuine questions and no desire for a row. Speaking personally it took about 4 days to show symptoms and if it weren't for a friend calling me to let me know that 17 people had gone down with it from where we last met then I would have only thought it was a hangover. By the time I had tested and got the results back 3 days later (it was during the time when they couldn't cope) I was ok again but Deb was showing symptoms although she had been with me the night I caught it.

I know that loads of people in hospitality - pubs, restaurants etc. were told to turn off the track and trace app.
So many staff were getting pinged, which led to venues having to close temporarily.

Truth is I can’t be sure but i was well on Friday and the entire week previous but I can’t say that i was definitely infected at the game but i can say its the only time i have been in close proximity to a lot of people. I can only make a guess on that. Thank you for your kind wishes.

I hoe you get better soon KP, and your lady too. Restrictions being lifted means far more chance of coming in contact with this damned virus unfortunately. What bugs me is these lateral flow tests giving false negatives so people think they're fine when actually they're not. Conversely they can also give false positives. My grandaughter has shown 6 positive tests over the last week, yet 2 pcr tests say she is negative. So what to believe! They say pcr trumps ltf so we have to go by that I guess.

Expect new rules for events over 20,000. Man U are planning spot checking. Firebreak probably in October.

With you all the way KP .I just feel we are all too complacent at the moment .I have a seat in the West Stand but feel very uncomfortable sitting shoulder to shoulder in a covered area so I have been buying an open air terraced ticket Friends have told me to "man up" but I am a long way from that point of view at the moment I agree with you on this gastower and know of other life long season ticket holders that are not attending because they feel the personal risk is too great.
It is a huge shame that the EFL (and rights holder) have refused to allow continued live ifollow coverage of all games to mitigate this.
Accepting the vaccination has had a positive outcome to prevent catching the disease and severity of outcome, our case load levels remain almost as high as it has ever been in the UK

Thank you, PCR tested + so i do have it and feel worse today, I’m in bed and typing from there but the bone pain and temperature is awful. I have to be very careful in watching for signs of it reaching my respiratory system as it could be extremely dangerous if it kicks off the wegeners. The good lady is better today but i am not. I can only hope i see signs of getting better soon or i will be forced to call the emergency services. I’m on record now though so there is some involvement from my GP and specialist

Get as much rest as you can and drink plenty of water. Fingers crossed the vaccine will stop it getting too bad. As if you haven't got enough to deal with already

Watching the news and the case numbers in the 30/40,000 it just shows the complete sense of complacency that seems to be prevalent everywhere, Government, the public in general, even most shops. I get the point that if you’ve been been double vaccinated then the effects of it are far less severe and so less dangerous. But watch the hospital cases ratchet up come October and November. The government have denied they’re planning a firebreak in October/November which probably means they’ll announce it two or three days before it starts. And yes, I’m very surprised that football clubs, not just Rovers but everywhere seem to have just turned a blind eye to basic Covid safety rules.
To all of you who have had it recently or still have it best wishes and hope you all recover soon. Take care.
UTG!

Thanks Ian, Woke up with no fever today but still have a lot of pain and dizziness. I am hoping I’m starting the road to recovery as yesterday was the worst day i have had. I am very glad i had the jabs and will definitely have the booster. Many thanks mate

Ok
Just an update and after posting of my COVID status, on facebook. Of the friends i have there and who went to the game, 11 got the virus and a couple are really not well, even now. I think i need to write to the club as I didn’t realise how many were keeping it quiet, I’m not blaming Rovers BTW but i think they need to be aware
