Does someone have contacts in the printing trade?
Why cant we produce a small but effective 'card' that we could hold up at the game (distributed outside the turnstiles) - similar to what is handed out at cricket matches? not sure what the best concise message would / could be? I can think of something but today is a Sunday !
Thoughts?
Sorry if this might have been suggested before?

Things like that were discussed at the Welly meetings including some action at the time of the Mansfield goal, but nothing happened which is a shame as it was as televised.
PS BRFC would not allow leaflets like that to be handed out at the turnstiles.

something must be sorted for the fgr game, live on tv for the whole country to see, big banner or higgs out chants all the way thru the game, followed by a riot at the end when we get beat again

Anyone got a coffin going spare? You'd need 500 or so to march to the ground, then turn their backs or something. Gotta be visible. Expect trouble from the diehard gorps though

What if we all slash our wrists at half time?

We need them to do the right thing for the club not necessarily the right things from a selfish point of view. Their record in recent times speak for itself . First class support and attendances most league 1 clubs would love to get and a support base that could easily sustain a championship club yet they have managed to get us a worse team and a worse manager than part time outfits with less than a thousand fans. It really is a remarkable achievement and makes you wonder if Higgs isn't really secretly a s**thead!

For any protest on live TV, BT Sport has to be made aware. We currently have an ex player who is very critical of certain aspects of our club. Make him aware of any intentions. Get BT sport talking. They will love it.
Secondly, choose a specific moment during the match. Don't do it for the whole match as that is not fair on the team. A significant number in our history maybe. 84th minute (for 1884) is a bit late. You get my drift.
Secondly, the protest itself. Why not make it something a bit different. An example. Fans all have an A4 white piece of paper with the name of a person that you feel represents Bristol Rovers written on it in big letters. The names of Ian Holloway, Bert Tann, Gerry Francis, Ray Kendall, Harrold Jarman, Geoff Bradford etc all being held up at a certain time (as noted above) would be an eye opener on TV. History in our hands. History being thrown away (maybe we can screw up the paper after a minute).
Plenty of ideas. Mines just off the top of my head. It's got to be something that does not affect the team or involve anything that will tarnish our club though.

I think a few Grim Reaper fancy dress outfits at FGR would do a job - a long with a For Sale sign running the length of the pitch!!!
For Sale - badly run football club, five careless owners, players who have no pride & 5,000 fans incl. Full League & Non-League service history available on request.

You can't fit all of that on one banner! We can't afford all of that on one banner! How about just a massive club for sale sign?

I think that will give out the wrong message of us as supporters.

The simplest and easiest way is to get all standing fans simply to turn their backs towards the directors box at a certain time and for a set amount of time (say 2 minutes) then either complete silence from those supporters or slow handclapping. That way no one has to sneak bits of paper into the ground. Make it known to the press and BT, so it becomes public BEFORE the game, that this is going to be done (also to get the word to those who are not in the know of the action)

OMG the board are going to be so scared of us slowly clapping and turning our backs? How does this accomplish anything?
