Proved yesterday that anyone that didn't rate him and want him here next season because he isn't good enough is wrong IMO. He was brilliant first half of last season. Anybody can look s**t in a s**t team.

Hanlan want's away, according to B***** he even made himself unavailable to play a week or so back, I have no problem with giving him a try if he want's to stay (on his feet).

Anybody can look s*** in a s*** team. I think we're all agreed there's a player in there and he started last season really well. Only he can explain where it really went wrong, but appears to have come out fighting a bit yesterday. Plays better coming in from wide instead of down the middle.

I would experiment with Hanlon and Anderson on the left overlapping, as BH is predominantly right footed.....the sort of cut-in-and-shoot-across-keeper role....? But hey, what do I know?

He stayed on his feet for most of the game yesterday so maybe he has realised that he has no impact sat on his arse.

He stayed on his feet for most of the game yesterday so maybe he has realised that he has no impact sat on his arse. Thing is people are looking for him to fall over and then give the criticism. Collins and Saunders have fallen over easily with little comments being made. Wonder how many free kicks JCH is winning now. Getting the impression refs are not giving as many offences this season.

I hope we sell him and sign a striker that wants to be at Rovers.

I hope we sell him and sign a striker that wants to be at Rovers. So it's a fact he dies not want to be here? JB said that last week but back tracked on it this week. Hanlon took a pay cut this season. He has one year on his contract left. So a longer contract on a higher wage is bound to appeal. If he goes am expecting the J not my fault B to say well we had to let him go etc etc etc. Any one joining will be here for the contract! No one is going to say I took a pay cut to come here as I have always wanted to play for the Gas.

JB said Hanlon wants to join Lincoln - higher division and wages - but unless we get a decent bid for him - another 3rd tier club have now bid abit more than Imps bid - and we have a striker lined up,he can't leave Rovers. All part of the transfer game.

Hanlan could be better off staying here another season. If he was to score 20 plus goals then he would be able to demand a big signing on fee next summer when he is out of contract.

Whole thread misses the point really. Why was a Martial (Hanlon) signed to replace Lukaku (Jono)? What were the people making that signing thinking - it’s my wedding anniversary and I have spent all my money in the pub! Better pick some flowers out the neighbours garden.
I have created a jigsaw thread, so we can kick around the attributes and positions of the final pieces of B*****’s Great Reset.

The other club bidding for Hanlan is Wycombe.
That’s how far we’ve fallen chaps, Lincoln and effing Wycscum are in a position to take players from us.

Can I be the first to mention Omar Bogle is being released by Donkey Rovers and has interest from a Div 2 club?

I hope we sell him and sign a striker that wants to be at Rovers. Its not just football, where a big pay rise somewhere else gets you thinking. if he has been offered 15% - 30 % more he should think. He may or may not love us but whichever it is the head gets turned. If we don't except the offer he has to do his best for himself and us. I hope he stays.
