Does'nt everyone stamp their feet and clap,in unison,to the song "We Will Rock You"?
Play that as the final song and it might flatten out any ball bobling bumps.

Slight misquote at the end there, I think? Quite.

"I'm a Rovers fan as a result I've got no alternative but to support B*****, personally I would have employed a less controversial manager, I find the constant criticism of him across both forums becoming tiresome.
It seems to me a fair number of posters will be happy if Rovers fail [my emphasis] this season just so they are proven right and B***** is sacked."
Some difference between fail and fold, perhaps.
Don't you understand the comments "it seems to me"? Basically it means in my personal view this is how I see things, it doesn't mean "it's a fact that....." Although if your on the SC committee, or closely involved with them, I sense you haven't really got an understanding of anything anyway.

I think you are perfectly entitled to make this sort of statement - it is a forum after all! You are making clear that it is your view. Our friend gastower chose to pick fault and, for the second time in as many days has either selectively quoted, or, in this case misquoted you. Angas picked him up on it and I shared your post for the record. For what it is worth, I agree with your sentiment.

Yes I am well aware it’s your opinion however what I am trying to establish is how you arrived at it.Not saying you are right or wrong I just want to establish why you think the “ rank and file “ feel this way For the record I have no connection with sc committee and neither am I closely involved with them.I am simply a member of the rank and file foot soldiers

Yes I am sure they have but if the event is successful there will others planned. We have invested heavily in the pitch ( relaid twice in 20 months or so at a cost of £330-£400K ?) so this could be an on going issue for the groundsman .I am firmly in the Paul Tisdale school of thought " respect the pitch" but if they can manage the issues arising the extra income would be welcome Aren't all professional pitches relaid every season?

Back on topic.
If you drive past the stadium at night they always have those lights pointing down at the pitch, it seems a bit odd to go to that amount of trouble to create a good surface and then risk destroying it.
I suspect that the playing surface will be well protected during this 'event'.
Quite who is going to turn up to watch it is another matter altogether though.
