Always appeared his heart wasn't in it. Seeing the manager that sold the club to you and promised you the captaincy and whatnot fail miserably might knock a man's confidence.

Still a pro though...his performances were average at best. Seemed to me he was weak and JB just wouldn't want a weak player around so best for both parties

I see he has re-joined Gillingham
So I assume he has taken a pay cut to join them and we have paid him off a nice sum, rather than a straight free transfer or he/his agent has pulled a blinder over the Gas

Great move for Ehmer, up a division and a tax free lump sum in his arse pocket.

Think he may have been reliable for this division, certainly Gills didn't want to lose him and delighted to have him back, we didn't see anything that makes me feel this is much of a loss.

With a team that finished bottom of the league it was difficult to see anything positive in any of the sad bunch.

I think it’s the right thing to do & I applaud Wael putting up the finance to get him off of our payroll

Why does it show that? Its shows we bought some one who really did not have his heart in it, thus we got rid. Good decisive decision. Dissapointing, but shows not enough checks performed by Garner.

Great move for Ehmer, up a division and a tax free lump sum in his arse pocket. Good if you get it, especially for someone who was truly diabolical for us. If he doesn't rekindle his form, he will be history there pretty soon to...

Player leaves Club. Quickly, slag them off. Some of our better early season performances had Ehmer as a right wingback and was our best attacking outlet IMHO. I can't imagine he wanted to play there. Looked like he gave it 100% to me. As the season progressed his form dipped, as did pretty much everyone's. If people think Baldwin or Harries are better centre halves then Ehmer, then I disagree. Each to their own. The treatment Max Ehmer received from Mr B***** was disgusting. I understand he didn't retaliate to the public slagging off he got. He appeared dignified. But hey, dignity is not part of our DNA anymore is it? Good luck Max, sorry it didn't work out for you. I bet you couldn't get away quick enough.

He only played about 4 games at right back and yes he did OK... Attacking outlet, not really. Scored a couple of goals from corners. However he was paid to be a centre back, which he never once looked comfortable. Also he did nothing to show leadership of a young team. Also you bring JB into this discussion as it's got to be his fault. Ehmer was not performing long before he came. JB pointed it out, which would have been better behind closed doors, but he was not wrong with the assessment. Lastly if you mention dignity. His tweet on leaving was a disgrace. He could easily have have said, "thanks, but just didn't work out and good luck for the future". In your world though it is much easier to have a pop at other Rovers fans as that's much more fun and divisive.

Never comfortable as a CB - with a constantly changing and accident prone back three. Imagine lining up alongside Baldwin and Harries. I mention Mr B***** as that public humiliation was an appalling piece of man management. At least we agree this sort of stuff is for the dressing room, not a press interview. Please link or copy & paste what was said in Max Ehmer's leaving tweet. I don't do social media. After the way he was treated by Mr B*****, I would not be hugely surprised if it was not a glowing endorsement of his time in BS7. I think the abuse aimed at Daly and now Ehmer the second they leave the Club is awful. I find it embarrassing. Your assessment "truly diabolical". My opinion differs to yours, that's not me being divisive. I can assure you, being a Gashead at the moment is not 'fun'.

Copy of tweet below in quotes, but in my opinion poor show from some one of his experience. "Delighted to be coming back home to @thegillsfc . Thanks to the chairman and Gaffer. Proper place to play football!! Can’t wait to see everyone again soon 💙⚽️"
