To keep this fair, I have voted based on how Nick Higgs would.

I've said the players as they have to do the job on the pitch and you can't blame others for them not performing. But i'd also say the Board for not backing and giving DC a chance in the market.

How of earth are the fans to blame, as two people voted? Explain yourselves. Well the board were very clear at the EGM it wasn't their fault so it must have been the fans ! Ps....you should have put Lenny Lawrence down as well as according to the board it's mostly his fault too ! Pps.....I didn't vote fans by the way

Can only be the Manager and the Players as the performance on the pitch is down to them.

1st BODs for putting faith in an inexperienced manager, 2nd Clarke because he falsely assumed players would want to come to the club and he is out of his depth, and thirdly the players who IMO from what I saw on saturday apart from Mildy, Browner and martin and possibly mansell are clearly not up for the physical battle. How of earth are the fans to blame, as two people voted? Explain yourselves. It wasn't me who voted for the fans but there are many who say the fans have too high expectations - like expecting the team to win! The fans put pressure on players expecting them to give a sh!t about playing for the club. The fans complain that they pay a fortune to travel around the country and support their side and the team don't seem to show up..... The fans want to be able to voice their views on a club open forum but then criticise the directors! How dare they do so, shut the forum..... Yes folks its all of the fans' fault

Richard, How many of Altringhams players would you prefer to have to the players in our team? Possibly the centre forward was the only player who I would take over what we have yet they beat us therefore IMO it is down to the players to stand up and be counted. It is down to DC to ORGANISE these players. You might say I am a rosetinter but those who know me will know that I would have had the whole lot sacked back in November JW, DC, MS, PK..the whole bloody lot because as a group the signs were out then that none of them were good enough. The signs were in fact there in the first game of last season at Exeter. So IMO the Board cocked it up then BUT I don't know the financial position of the Board and I don't know it now. They should have appointed Martin Allen then and I am sure that now we would still be a Football League club as when you play against a Martin Allen team you know they will be properly prepared and organised and you know he has the contacts to bring in the right type of player. They will get beat occasionally but you know they will fight to the last. What I do know is that once the decision was not made at that time and the JW roadshow was allowed to go on for far too long we had relegation written all over us for much of the season. I didn't agree with the decision to give DC the job and still don't agree with it BUT the decision has been made and for better or worse IMO we have to stand with it for a fair bit longer than three games. For all the opinions on here the Board are the only ones who really know whether they can sustain the current losses but what I say to you is that the majority of supporters have agreed with MOST of the Management appointments so can hardly blame the Board for appointing them. We are where we are but what I do know is that until somebody with the financial clout make advances to the club then we have to stick with what we have and hope that they will steer the ship through these bloody stormy waters because at the end of the day protests,BRISA,Kevin Spencer etc etc aren't going to help this club survive but rather help destroy it from behind a keyboard.

You say over 10 years but how many were moaning at the Board in 2007 when we were at the Millenium Stadium and Wembley or stood watching us beat Southampton in the FA Cup or evenm at Southampton when Andy Williams scored that infamous goal? The criticism of the Board only comes about when the fortunes on the pitch are bad. If we were successful on the pitch it wouldn't matter who was running the club. Personally I feel that the players we now have are good enough with two more additions to compete at the right end of the table if selected properly and organised properly but that is down to the Manager and not the Board. Our immediate future is down to the Manager and players.

It's a bit of a silly poll really. The logic that all the blame lies squarely here or there and not anywhere else is wrong.
The "blame" lies in different amounts in different places, and that does include fans.
