Earlier I referred to this era as the "BG Rovers".In my mind (a huge deserted space) ,I was reminded of the Bee Gees.
Got any Bee Gees songs/lyrics that suits our "BG Rovers"?

I recall watching this TV spat between the Bee Gees and Clive Anderson:
In one incident in 1997, Anderson interviewed the Bee Gees, and throughout the interview he repeatedly joked about their songs from the Saturday Night Fever era, also referring to their original intended name as 'Les Tosseurs' but his comment, 'you'll always be tossers to me' ultimately prompted the band to walk out of ...

He was taking the p***, they reacted. What did he honestly expect? In the end he came over as “Le Tosseur”. Very clever bloke, but on that occasion just went too far. UTG!

I thought BG referred to Bamber Gasgroin... It does, but there's a difference. 3 months ago most people thought neither of us had a clue what we were talking about, now Garner has been given the benefit of the doubt by some, let's see how that works out.

"I've got to get a message to you".
Could be a team talk.

The players sit in the dressing room listening to garner droning on about the inverted triangle formation. Just more "jive talking" by the man that never played for anyone.

The haunting Bee Gees track "I started a joke" from 1968 is still played heavily on radio here in the USA but wasn't released as a single in the UK.
Many old Tote Ender's will be familiar with the hair styles and luckily I still have mine. (I keep it in a box)
No comment on any relevance to BG's Rovers.
