I expect any cash benefit from Sir Rickie to disappear into the club's overdraft or repay loans. It would be interesting to know if some of the Board are sweating about their "investment" as they didn't expect to be relegated.

I couldn't give two hoots about the sell on fee, I'm just keeping everything crossed that this goes through for Rickie.

. . . as they didn't expect to be relegated. Not an option . . . apparently.

Good luck to him. Now what are we going to do with the sell-on money? I'm going to have a bottle of Cobra and a chicken dhansak. You do what you want with yours.

I've heard Jamie Carstairs is objecting.

I hear that the fee is £4m but 2 fringe players will be going the other way and their combined value is in excess of £1m so that has to be added to the value of the deal

would we really get a % of profit based on a player exchange (i.e value of a player) Do the clubs even have to value the player?

I've heard Jamie Carstairs is objecting. Very droll, tiptreegas. No truth in it though, is there?

Yes they have to be valued as part of the deal, because if they were not moving then the fee would be bigger to compensate for this, hence no two way deal RL price is app £5.5m.Its an FA ruling to stop bigger clubs conning smaller ones out of their rightfull share of a transfer

I still cringe at the minority of gasheads who said he was fat and useless and lazy , now look at where he is now! Signed for a big big club and hopefully will score the winning goal for England in the world cup final , well we can dream cos he's certainly living it right now

GAS LEGEND Behind Lambo is some of our 'away mob' - luckily you can only just see my head behind the lad ('appy 'arry) with the BRFC tat on his arm. I was sat next to Cheshire Gas (Tel) that momentous day. I love all this sentimental nostalgia ... don't get me started on the Fab 50s
