Yes,medical today according to 5 Live this morning and they're still quoting £4mil but no mention of the two make-weight players that are going to Saints as part of the deal.

Looks like they're offering £25m for Lallana.
We could have done with a slice of that.

I loved Rodgers' view of Lambert: 'People say he's a big number nine, but he's much more than that, he's a fantastic player'.

So pleased for Rickie, heading to the World Cup and has got himself a dream move to one of the biggest clubs in the country... All in the later stages of his career.
Good luck to him. Now what are we going to do with the sell-on money?

What percentage is the common consensus of our commission? And is it just a percentage of saints profit? Apologies if this was discussed on the previous forum.
So happy for Lambert, hopefully a title winner next season!

Now what are we going to do with the sell-on money? I'll tell you what happens to the sell on money, it WONT be reinvested in the team. Thats why we are in this mess, stadium first team second.

From twitter - Exact fee not confimed yet, but if £4million - that's £3million profit. #BristolRovers get £600k, and Rochdale take £150k of that. #Lambert. Bet that's not spent on players!!!!.

Southampton fans not happy at all at the way Hodgson and co. are seemingly bending over backwards to get the deal sorted and talking up the possibility of the Lallana transfer.

I think we've received 'add on' and performance payments from Southampton already in addition to the £1m initial fee so the profit may not be as much as £3m but if the profit was only £2m that's still £300k with more to come if there are performance payments in the Liverpool deal.

Sky Sports News are saying the deal will be completed tomorrow even though Rickie will be in Miami with the England squad.

Have to spend on players. It is money that we were not expecting to get, although perhaps this will now pay for our latest legal costs.
