The next two games are against two teams that were playing Conference South/North football last season.
No disrespect to both of these teams, but if ever two positive results were needed in the history of this football club...well these two matches are them.
And no, i'm not saying sack DC. I'm saying that us fans need something positive. It's amazing what a win or two can do to a supporter. If we lose (or fail to get a win) these two matches then I can see an absolute meltdown occurring among the fan base.
So, DC, players, board, get the Barnet loss out of your system and go do your jobs. Please give us something to be positive about.

These next two games are nothing to do with DC, he's playing his part, it's about time the players wake up and the board give him some financial backing, as all i can see so far dating back to last season is a young manager being set up and shat on.

I think we could easily be bottom of the table after the next two games. My son and I drove up tonight from sunny Sussex by the Sea and rather foolishly thought the low light of the excursion would be the M25 from Leatherhead...how wrong we were. It's difficult to see where we go from here as we're deficient in every part of the team and seemingly tactically bereft, whilst lacking any kind of leadership and guidance from DC. We need an injection of spirit and talent...and fast.

DC has to pick the correct formation for each particular match. DC has to pick the right players in the right positions (that are available to him) DC has to motivate the team. DC has to implement the correct tactics.
These next two matches have everything to do with DC (and of course the board and the players). DC will not be playing his part if he does not do the above correctly.
I'm not judging whether he is/or isn't doing the right thing at the moment. I just want everyone to pull together (DC included) to bring about two positive results.

It's about time the players wake up? 8 of the 11 out there tonight were DC's new recruits. He had the whole summer to judge whether they would collectively deliver on the pitch. Too early to judge his decision making yet, but get nothing out of the next 2 and the pressure will already be on him for pulling together a team that is failing to compete.

Can I make one plea, next pre season can everyone stop saying results don't matter. Not scoring goals and shipping them against lower level teams do matter. (I almost wrote non league teams there but had to correct it....)

OK we've played two of the better teams in the League and our team is still settling in. So far, so bad. But we really need something out of the next two games. I'm not thinking two wins but a win and a draw look pretty essential against teams that were a league lower last year. Even a goal would be a start! If we get nothing or just a point we are in real trouble.

With 8 games to save us he changed formations, tactics and personnel almost every game which was the main reason we were relegated. (in his words he tried to change too much)

Another 0-0 for Grimsby suggests they are solid at the back (which we saw last Saturday) but lack the cutting edge up front (which we saw last Saturday). Many have said it will be a long hard season and we had better believe it , unless we start finding the back of the net with regularity.

I don't expect to score in either! Hope we score a bucket full in both and I'm completely wrong!

What i find difficult to get my head round is that on Sat our deference looked very solid and yet he changed it ?? Perhaps he wanted to start with the formation which was impressive in the second half on Saturday, or he just couldn't keep the same formation for two consecutive games. Anyway logic would suggest that he now starts with Tuesday's finishing formation.
