Just when we have our best chance of an elusive first win on Saturday, along comes Bomb Cyclone Dennis with severe gales and very heavy rain to blow it all way!
Its certainly hard being a gashead at the moment..............

Feature on Midland's TV today over Solihull Moors FC hoping to get promoted to league 2.As they too have marquees for stands ,we would no longer be unique. P.S.Hope the Blackpool fans enjoy our visitors facilities tomorrow!!!!!

In theory you could play in the premier league with the all seater temporary stands. What puts me off them is the number of stanchions blocking the view.

Is there a pitch inspection 1pm? once it gets going it’s forecast to be heavy and unrelenting for six hours www.martynhicks.uk/weather/data.php?page=summarythe water table ometer you suspect is already pointing at proper soggy, yet the heavy stuff that quickly makes puddles will come too late for an early inspection and prevent travel, but they may have no choice but one of those hour to go call offs? with that amount of wind and rain it will be a bonkers game of football if on. 🦆

Wasn't there an allegation of some financial impropriety made against Michael at Solihull? Presumably unfounded if he is still there.
Nice looking tents though.

Wasn't Darryl Eales briefly rumoured to be involved with us a while back? Or have I just completely made that up?

Mike attracted a lot more investors including Darryl Eales the former Oxford United owner and the same person who expressed an interest in taking over Bristol Rovers.
