Wasn't there an allegation of some financial impropriety made against Michael at Solihull? Presumably unfounded if he is still there. Nice looking tents though. No. Mike was guilty of being involved with the club but not declaring an interest. The main reason that happened was because he refused to join the board from the outset and only promised to help straighten the clubs finances. The FA accepted that, praised him for his amazing work in the community and handed him the minimum punishment for the oversight. There was also an incident with a race horse where he was given inside information about a favourite not going to win. I was there the day of the bet and had I had my wallet with me I would have placed a bet as well.

Is there a pitch inspection 1pm? once it gets going it’s forecast to be heavy and unrelenting for six hours www.martynhicks.uk/weather/data.php?page=summarythe water table ometer you suspect is already pointing at proper soggy, yet the heavy stuff that quickly makes puddles will come too late for an early inspection and prevent travel, but they may have no choice but one of those hour to go call offs? with that amount of wind and rain it will be a bonkers game of football if on. 🦆 it’s no great shame to lose a match to the worst of winter weather, Man City lost fixture to the weather last week when the last storm was at its height. Its all about timing. Those making the decision take into the account not just current battle to clear puddles but the prospect of the rain easing or not letting up, and the dangers to fans from storm winds and advice from police not to travel.

Mike Turl? Yes it is. Solihull Moors Football Club CIC is controlled by its directors as listed below: Alexandros Alexandrou, Calvin Barnett, David Bewick, Richard Blackmore, Benn Brown, Paul Chell, Cheryl Cooper, Darryl Eales, Terry Grogan, Simon Hawker, Paul Rivers, Mike Seabrook, Michael Turl. Wasn't Darryl Eales briefly rumoured to be involved with us a while back? Or have I just completely made that up? I think he was the owner at Oxford at some time wasn’t he? They’ve a lot of directors, compared to us anyway. But I suppose everyone has a lot of directors compared to us. UTG!

Well chances are, we will be playing Solihull Moors in League Two in a year or so. I can hear the songs already: 'We got the best Tents in the world' - 'The Tents are going up' - 'This place is a campsite I wanna go home' - 'Come and have a go at the Tent End aggro' ...........
