Was in a tiny bar in the south of Taiwan, a small surfing spot called Kenting few people know, the bar had a low ceiling that was plastered in graffiti in both English & Chinese, amongst it all, my son-in-law spotted the words 'WILF W-S-M BRFC GAS' it did make us laugh.

Oddly enough I've not met a massive amount of Gasheads here in NZ over the years although the local pub has around 100 scarves plastered across the ceiling the most prominent of which is a Rovers one.

Nice guy is Wilf, last time we spoke he was heading up the well supported WSM Gas

In January I was at Circular Quay catching a bus for Coogee when I saw someone in a gas shirt coming from the ferries. Only one though and I go over about twice a year to visit son and family. I think it’s one of the most recognisable shirts with quarters. Not like any bog standard block coloured shirt. UTG!

I did a DNA tour from Melbourne to Brisbane and didn't spot one Gas shirt, not even in Sidney during new year. I was so disappointed. Left mine at home.

Ten years ago whilst visiting Australia I went to watch Sydney FC vs Brisbane, and sitting for rows in front of me was a bloke in a Rovers shirt! We got chatting and it turned out he was working in Australia. I think we were probably the only two gasheads in a crowd of about 8000, so amazing we eneded up sat close to each other.

Once in Disneyworld an American asked me "Elite Hamsters, who are they?".

I’ll look out for both next time I’m at a Sydney FC match. I usually catch 1 or 2 a year when over. 👍 UTG!
