That’s Yogi bear, BoomBoo. You just gave me s bittersweet memory, my father used to do Yogi impressions. Don’t think I will ever get over his loss. Memory is worse than I thought! UTG! We all get there. The funniest part is I will never let go nor will I use a search engine. I wake up and it’s my eureka moments 😂. OCD isn’t very nice at times

Dad would sit and mimic. Bag puss, the clangers, Ivor the engine to name but a few. More genteel times and also I have very joyous memories of that time

Like those are the two options that face you. One or the other. Could go either way. Of course, they might be referring to the Tote End in the 70s.

An interesting life, an interesting father, and an interesting grandfather. I've got his autobiography 'Seeing Things' - I can highly recommend it, not just for the nostalgia trip!

I saw a documentary on him, shame it was on BBC4 but he really worked wonders with what he had, finding out Emily was real was great too. If I were able then that is the period I would go back to

I managed to track down all the original Pogle's Wood DVD's. One of the episodes was deemed too scary for children by the BBC and was only shown once. Showed it to my kids and it freaked them out. Shape changing, child stealing witch anyone? Pogle's Wood represents a lot of my pre-school memories. Many years later (well into my 20's) I used to watch Bagpuss. Oliver Postgate. Genius.
