We got promotion from the Conference via Wembley an army Gasheads celebrate - We get taken over by rich foreign owners, it was rumoured that we were the ' Sixth Richest club in the country'. Top people hired to oversee our new ground and a proven management team put in place. Another promotion after a dramatic last minute goal. We were flying, thousands of new fans were being attracted what a fantastic ride we were all on What could go wrong, well It all started to unravel when Lady garden upped his game, halted our promotion push to the Championship by prizing away our top striker with silly wages to become a bench warmer. The new ground fell through and we still dont no why- Instead we had a new training ground soon to be a 'white elephant' Our manager had enough he did not believe any more and rightly hung out for a richly deserved pay off. A few Months ago the EDL rich owners list was published. Clubs such as Sheffield Weds, Derby, Notts Forest Leeds are slightly wealthier that ours, Qpr, Sheff Utd, Wigan, Middlesbrough, Bradford, Norwich and Sunderland are not as rich. Of course unless you are prepared to spend big money you end up going nowhere. Which is where we are headed and if not addressed soon, the empty corporation boxes and thinning terraces will become the norm. A winning team will (Yeah right) will slow the drift but will not solve the issue of trust, because at the moment i doubt anyone has any belief in any words ( when we get some ) from the owners. We are sliding down the greasy pole towards a black hole and the only way this club can avoid a slow painful death, is for the owners to honour their committment from the start and spend some serious money instead of all this 'smoke and mirrors' which achieves nothing but mistrust.UTG

Without a second thought, we dumped the plain, slightly chunky and perhaps even dull boyfriend who had stood by us through the hardest of times and then drove off into the sunset. And now we flirt openly with our ex, showing little or no respect for the dependable and loyal Irishman who picked us up and gave us back our league one status Can you really say that we deserve any sympathy?

And now we flirt openly with our ex, showing little or no respect for the dependable and loyal Irishman who picked us up and gave us back our league one status Can you really say that we deserve any sympathy? As far as the current manager is concerned, have no doubt he kept us up last year, and this season hes been unlucky not to have picked up a few more points. I also think that there has been several good passages of play, particularly the accuracy when long balls are played from one side of the pitch to the other. Hopefully, he will stick around, not be put off by a minority of 'boo boys', improve style of play on the pitch and push us up the table.
Its off the pitch where our version of 'brexit' is being played out -Feb 2003 we were staying in and redeveloping the Memorial Ground. Thanks to the Green Party we stayed in. Then along comes Sainsbury's and we coming out. They f**ked us over with their clever lawyers but low and behold we were saved by 'crazy foreign owners' and coming out was back on again - our new ground was a certainty. This is Rovers nothing ever can be taken for granted - For reasons unknown it fell through - Lets stay in and redevelop the Memorial Stadium its the same amount of space that Everton manage with says El Presidente. After lots of rumours surprise surprise were coming out again this time smelling of 'rose's' ? Its no wonder we are all screwed up, after all 'brexit' only been going for 3 years and everyone is f**ked off How about 40 -50 years of abject misery - Its amazing that we currently have 6000 still going and yes we do deserve sympathy!
