3pm = Rovers v Stanley. 5pm = England v Bulgaria (Euro qualifier). 7pm = Glos v Derbyshire Falcons (T20 quarter final).
… all to the back-drop of the 4th Ashes Test going on.
I'm not one for predictions, but hoping for 4 home wins.
I imagine a fair number will be going to both the Rovers and Glos. If you're not going to the cricket, it's worth being aware of it happening - around the same time as the normal 8K are trying to get away, there will be another 8K just arriving and looking for a parking space.

Weekend before last was quite a super Sunday...
Glos beat Scummerset. Eng beat Aussies. Gas beat Ox.
3 kinda rivals put to the sword......will lightning strike twice?

From a Somerset fan I hope the Concept is right and we get 4 home wins and Gloucestershire get through to finals day. That is if you accept good wishes from a “scum” fan! 😉 Jeez. UTG!

Fair play, Wareham; I did wonder if you'd reply! I'll try to keep this short - wrong section really. The last couple of rounds were crazy. - Somerset sitting in the play-offs, racked up 226 in the last game, only to see Middlesex pass them in a record chase, with 3 overs to spare, and knock them out of the play-offs. But now Middlesex have been thrashed by 10 wickets in the quarter-finals. - Kent won 6 out of the first 7 games, were coasting in both their last 2 games, yet didn't finish in the top 4. - Sussex ran away with the Southern Division, but knocked out tonight.

Of course I would, it would be rude not to. 😉 Seriously, although a Somerset season ticket holder I spent many years as a boy watching Gloucestershire back in the 60s and always want Gloucestershire to do well. Not into the rivalry, although others think I am, Gloucestershire my second favourite team. And tbh, this season I don’t really care that much about T20, Somerset have a much bigger objective after 144 years! As you say T20 matches are crazy for the reasons you said. Hope Gloucestershire do it tomorrow but for all the reasons you said Derbyshire shouldn’t be underestimated.

Saturday is actually the Barrie Meyer All Dayer. Brilliant! I like that. Works so well. I'll use that for other circumstances. Will now forever correct people when they say they're going on a Leo Sayer. … right, let's get this Barrie Meyer started.

It was a T20 match so anything could happen. Gloucestershire froze on the night and allowed Derbyshire to do what Gloucestershire have been doing during the T20. Was a shame.
