As most people on here think i make it all up so i won't bore you with all the details, but BCC are adopting the same approach as they did with Golden Hill (Tesco had the same issue). That was resolved easily and this one will also
This is only a minor issue there are bigger fish to sort out yet

It's not only noise pollution but the fuel cost and carbon pollution of standing in a traffic jam at other times of day too. A roundabout instead of lights is better in that respect as well.

And so the saga goes on. Some may see it as minor but I see it as just a pawn being moved one space in a protracted chess game. It will end up in Pyrrhic victory at best. Thing is Sainsbury has the money to keep it going. Henbury intimated there are bigger issues anyway so it enforces the conclusion that I have come to.

Can someone please explain to me how we build ANYTHING in this country? Bristol Rovers aren't involved in anything else being built... ...and so things are achieved. The last/latest delay to UWE/Mem/Sains can only be because Rovers didn't prepare well enough or Rovers wanted the season's delay - no other reasons are applicable

It was put to very good use Not many fireflys about so must have been good at his job to get the 17 pounder. A Sherman without it was a sitting duck. Regardless, all brave men serving in sub standard tanks up against the might of the German panzers. Respect to them all.

just had an email confiming sainsburys have made an appeal to the secretary of state regarding the council's decision not to grant permission to ammend delivery hours to between 0500 and 00:00. I guess this can be looked at in one of 2 ways: Good as it indicates they still intend to build it. Bad as it could be seen as a delaying tactic if they are just trying to get out of it! Ricardo, are you on a mailing list? Just wondered how you got the info?

When I saw 'Notice of appeal' thought at first it may refer to the Wycombe situation which has obviously died a death .Anyway all that matters is getting back into the league so 3 points to-day will do nicely.UTG.

Take away my bias, he was one of the most highly decorated soldiers in that conflict. How I wish I was more like him
