On tuesday evening, in front of a very poor crowd of less than 3k we easily brushed aside an very average village side playing in league rwo. Taking into account weather, apathy and holidays our first home game attendance against the wycombe cheats was also modest at best. Football is in the entertainment business and the gas colllective only need a spark to return in numbers. Three goals did the trick and , we turned up on mass, yesterdays support was absolutely 'bonkers' ( many championship sides would look on in envy)
However, and we cant say were not used to it, yet again another shocking proformance in all departments -it makes me numb to the bone, and conseqently i bashed out 'we found our level' thread at the final whistle. Only made bearable by the gallow humour of our wonderful fans inludling the song sang to Coventry 'Your nothing special we lose every week!'
League two beckons oh Wael lets go home its just another great day out,,Wael apart from the football! -

Many a true word spoken in jest. I consider this League 2 to be the equivalent of the old Division 3 our natural home historically.

Yep, don't worry about fulfilling the rest of our L1 fixtures as we are evidently as L2 team with no possible way of holding our own in this division, just relegate us already.

There seems to be a bit of chatter about GC being a bully and players not playing for him, I don’t know but it’s evident we are playing very poor football and does he have the nous to change this ? i found his post match comments bizarre. I try to give time but, going on end few games of last season and this, it seems we have worsened. I will be there tomorrow as my first match was a night game on Tuesday v Tranmere, sat in Eastville North stand. Hoping we can get something but genuinely feel we don’t have the talent or even the will.

It really is time for people to calm down. We've played 4 competitive games. Lost 2, drawn 1, won 1. From my count, we've played 8 new players in those games, including pretty much a completely new back line in the last 2. The football is not great at the moment, but I suspect many people's opinion on that is coloured solely by the result.
I wasn't at the Coventry game, but by the referee's own admission, we had a perfectly good goal disallowed which could have changed the course of the game. At Blackpool we hit the post twice and were not far off a side who have got their tails up at the moment.
I'm hoping a few wins will turn our fortunes around and improve the mood about the place.

We haven't scored a league goal and Sat was dire. The quality simply isn't there. Promises of stadium upgrades/new ground and a new training ground never come to anything.Very worried about our club's future.

Bit unlucky but we went through this last season. From December onwards we made our own luck
