Trolls seems to have not been doing so well at all. Still feel some fondness for him. Hope he finds someone who will give him a chance. At one point was being touted as one if the brightest home grown managers. I really don’t look for players who have gone not unless we may have a sell in clause

Two years assisting Chris Hughton keeping Brighton in the Premier League. Also in the mix was a job on the Wales coaching staff, helping get to the semi-finals of Euro 2016 in France. (We'll gloss over the time in charge of Cardiff). Many people were shocked that Brighton let Hughton go at the end of the season, and I suppose Trolls went as part of that package.

I would take any striker at the moment. All we have is JCH who is crocked , Nichols who is crocked in a different sort of way. Plus 2 ok loan strikers who will not be around forever. What a f**kin shambles.

Apologies as I should have been clearer in that I was talking about a managers job and not as an assistant. He is now without a job again so I do hope he gets another crack.

Apparently, our delightful manager has been trying to sign Ched Evans. Tool. Found not guilty in the eyes of the law. If we were going to judge all footballers by their (entirely legal) off field activities then there wouldn’t be enough players to go round. Would you have had Frank Lampard here in his prime? People often forget that even squeaky clean Fat Frank was part of the Chelsea crew who delightfully treated a girl like a piece of meat on camera back in the day just for the japes. As long as they aren’t breaking the law I don’t see how the club or we as supporters can hold anything other than their footballing ability against them. Otherwise it’s like trying to judge a fish on it’s ability to climb a tree.

WMGas, fair enough. Not a fan of Evans and wouldn't want him anywhere near Rovers and am surprised (a little) by our "manager" going in for him.

Feel the same as @drfaustus about Evans. Respect the argument of @wmgas too. Happy to consider both Evans and Lampard scum. Football has a little social responsibility. Rovers should choose players who are not scum.
