Apparently axed by Tommy G.
When's this big news going to be announced then? Maybe on a day when there's some bad or disturbing news. Give it a couple of weeks then.

I enjoyed working with Screen Soccer and always found them to be willing to go beyond the call to help make the Bristol Rovers match day experience that little bit better.
Not aware of why they have been sacked but Tom G appears to be highly thought of amongst the fans so I doubt there will be much outrage about the decision.

Wonder what criteria Tom uses to decide if Rovers should retain people's services?

Disapointed to hear this, many great games covered by these lads, and really enjoyed the commentary provided as much as the football, so thanks for the years of service you have provided the Gas, you are remembered well by my mighty VHS & DVD collection.

Watched gas v Swansea on their Facebook page. Free to anyone + great commentary. Saved being ripped off a tenner for a friendly. Not too sure what this proves just saying.

What was/is the actual relationship between screen soccer and the club?
Dont get me wrong I love screen soccer and it has some great memories, but without knowing the detail, i assume it is very much is/was the previous sort of club has nothing these guys fill a role and Tom G is bringing it in-house.
Its a shame if they cant be part of it but what is the story/reasoning

You don't need to know the detail, PP. Just be Knee-jerk appalled like everyone else.

Runs in my mind this happened once before as well? Can't remember when or why, maybe a year or two back. Could be imagining it of course.

Dave Rogers and Andy Warren are both stalwart gasheads who brought lots of pleasure to fellow fans by recording matches at both Twerton Park and the Mem over many decades. Their dvd compilations for promotions, relegations, special cup ties were legendary. I know the club appreciated their efforts but in recent years it has not been the same for them. Their commentaries on matches were special and brought great humour at times when we certainly needed cheering up as long suffering fans. I do know when bars were being refurbished last summer much of screen soccer's equipment was removed and put in a skip which did not go down well with Screen Soccer.
They will be missed for sure.
Poor decision by BRFC to axe their services.

Over the more recent years the Screen Soccer stuff has been pretty slick so sad they can't be official, so what replaces it is key
As a whole though, and I am sure it is something we all agree on and some of us have argued for years for is the club needs to be more professional (not a knock on Andy or Dave, as I say there stuff was pretty slick) in various aspects.
We want a stadium, we 'want' championship football, we want a better fun football club and that means getting out of the rag bag rovers mindset, the old school supporters club attitude and dare I say the word fans actually EVOLVING.
That doesn't make eveyting the club hads done right or good and some of it could sure as hell have been communicated better
Dragging the club into the 21st century was always going to ruffle fetahers and upset people and mean mistakes on the way This is not a full hearted defence of the club and I would disgaree to do away with Screen Soccer, but I am annoyed that there seems to be something every day for someone to try and pick apart

If true and I don’t doubt you, it’s an end to what was a superb service. I hope any historical videos will not be affected. It feels like we are being pulled apart. The club cutting ties with the SC and now this. Screen soccer seems an integral part of the club to me. I feel worried about the way the owners are going about things and for the possible future of the club. I don’t now even use the term our club as I feel we are not involved at all. I hope my worst fears are unfounded but, right now, I have never felt such a lack of optimism in all of my time, as a rovers supporter.
