Not exactly rovers related but today they went into administration with a 12 point deduction next season which may well be increased after the football league disciplinary hearing due in 2 weeks. As an aside it means my hopes ofor getting my money back has disappeared oh well s..the happens

Hopefully the FA / Football League or whoever make a real example of them, however they'll almost certainly be back playing at a higher level than us within a few years or so, like nothing ever happened

Add Luton to that list.My own view is that any club that goes into administration should be demoted divisions and have a year transfer embargo, forcing them to bring on their own young talent and learn to live within their means

The old owners bugger off. New people arrive, say they are appalled by what they've inherited and that they, the club, the staff, supporters and the community shouldn't be punished for mistakes made by previous custodians.

The thing is the EFL in this case would be punishing clubs for their own incompetence. Both Bolton and Bury had their owners passed fit in the “Fit and proper person” tests. Football administrators really do have to look at the way things are currently done because they are hurting communities with pathetic decisions.
