The following information comes from the Bristol Rovers Supporters Club in relation to membership subscriptions and away coach travel for next season.
The information from the Supporters Club reads as follows;
'Following the closure of our headquarters at 199 Two Mile Hill Road, Kingswood, in May 2018, BRSC Membership and Away Travel has only been available for purchase through the football club at the club’s superstore.
The Supporters Club Committee has taken the decision that from the end of this season tickets for away coach travel and membership will only be available online through the SC Website www.bristolroverssc.co.uk and from the SC outlets at the stadium on a matchday. The club superstore will no longer sell tickets for travel or membership. On matchdays, membership will be available from the SC Bar (cash payment only) and the SC shop (cash or card) in the main car park. Away travel will only be sold at the SC shop.
Existing members are encouraged to rejoin online before the start of next season, and to book away tickets online to avoid long queues at the SC shop on matchdays especially in the early part of the season. Please do not include payment for BRSC membership with season ticket renewals or you may have to pay again.
There are bound to be some initial teething problems as with any new system. The BRSC Committee will review the changes regularly and members can also contact the travel organiser and membership secretary by Email in the event of any problems at travel@bristolroverssc.co.uk or membership@bristolroverssc.co.uk
Please note that BRSC membership will still place you in priority group two for tickets for all-ticket matches.
The online systems are currently being tested and are part of a planned major improvement behind the scenes to the BRSC website. We will announce when the new membership arrangements are available so please keep checking back. Of course travel bookings cannot be in place until the fixture list comes out. Please do not attempt to purchase next season’s membership yet.
Things you can do to help are:-
* Join the Supporters Club during the close season
* Book for away matches online as early as possible.
* Arrive early at the stadium if you intend to book travel or purchase membership in person.
* Always bring your BRSC membership card when booking away travel or you will be charged the non-members rate (an additional £5 per ticket)
* Do not send renewal for BRSC membership with Season Ticket renewals as in previous years.'
