It sounds to me like Ed's plan is still alive, and there is a stand off over money and wael staying DS will look to cut costs, Ed will hope to starve them out What plan is this?

Ed Ware is nothing but a fantasist, without the necessary funds to back up his plans and leaks. Iām frankly bored totally s***less by anything he has to say or do.

Oh well, at least it gave us a bit of hope! As far as the bond Wasps seemed to have no trouble raising millions to purchase the Ricoh via a similar bond, not sure if a Premiership rugby club is anymore attractive to investors than a Div 1 football club?

Steve Hamer wrote to me on 29th November.
"Many thanks for your e-mail,I have met with Tifosy on several occasions and fully understand their concept.
I have no doubt that it would be well supported by our fan base, however, when I have proposed crowd funding to Dwayne Sports, it has not been something that they wish to consider".
To the Hearts Model earlier, it was a similar theme on DS not wishing to consider outside investment.

Hani says No more than a DUP politician at an Irish border.
The end.

In response, of course, you immediately cut Hamer out of the chain of communication, went straight to wael, expanded on your idea and explained how much money you had pledged, how you were happy to either assist with stadium or training facility development and who your main backers were, what expertise your team would bring to assist with overall governance, management and maximising opportunities within either development and how excited they all were at the opportunity. Of course, you accidentally did a bit of name dropping. Yes? Then again.... You shrugged your shoulders and gave up at the first hurdle, what would you have done if you tried to start the thing and met with a real problem?

šš Guilty.. if it makes you happy. It would take more than that to make Bamber happy. Then again - what is "happy"? Happy is as elusive as a Tom Nichols hat-trick or a Steve Hamer or Wael Al-Qadi interesting and informative interview. I give up.

Happy is as elusive as a Tom Nichols hat-trick or a Steve Hamer or Wael Al-Qadi interesting and informative interview. I give up. It would make me happy if Vaughan replied something like; ''Bamber, get back in your box Matey, I'm in dialogue with names that you would recognise from the health and leisure industry, they see potential in The Colony site and also in a partnership with a club with the support base and with the potential profile that Rovers has. I was never going to put this thing together myself, that was an impossible ask, but I've got some big hitters on board. I'm hopeful that the prospectus we can put together, which involves supporter ownership, will excite everyone, including Wael and Hani. Apology accepted. Your name is top of the list when the subscription prospectus is mailed. Lots of love. Vaughan.'' Or, something along those lines with stadium funding / development. Or, ''Bamber, I tried, I sank many days into this contacting all of the people who set up the Share Scheme, asking around on match days, across both forums (fora?) and social media, trying desperately to assemble the skills needed to get this off the ground, I can't do it myself, help is hard to come by, I tried, honestly, I gave it my best shot.'' That I would respect and thank him for. Just 2 quick examples, there could be many more that would have made me happy. As I keep saying, we know they were talking to potential investors, it's just a question of credibility from here. But unless he's done something more than copy and past a couple of links, he's made no serious effort, so I'm left questioning how serious he really was. Now I press him and tease him a bit, and he doesn't rise to the challenge, he just says, OK, I give up, if that's what makes you happy. Come on Vaughan, at least fail trying!

I think Swiss has nailed it, potential investors are put off by what (could be) lurking in the Rovers Skeleton cupboard, I reckon Wael & Co must have manifested themselves after opening that cupboard door, no wonder he say's nowt now!...
