The usual crap about the manager from Mr Payter. Apparently, Darrell should be worried about his future if we lose tonight.
Ok Sherlock, what's the great plan for his replacement? None.
Short memories.

Hiya Fausty, regardless of the past this season is a total shambles. He just about remains in credit for his past achievements but if this situation continues the sword of Damocles which is undoubtedly swinging over his head will fall.

Darrell is worried. We're all worried. But he remains the best man for the job. UTG.

Penis Dayter should be worried, his articles have been utterly s**t for a long, long time.

Fans who did not go to the Barnet game have no right to condemn those who booed at the final whistle after witnessing such an embarrassing defeat

Well i did go to the Barnet game - and i was totally emabarressed and appalled by the reaction at the end of the game. Admittedly losing to Barnet, especially in the way we did, was a choker but overall the performance wasnt anywhere near the worst that we have been treated to. For some reason an ever growing number of our fans seem to think we should be walking this division and pushing for the championship. Im not really sure why though. Since i started following Rovers in 1994 we have only really realistically flirted with getting to the championship a couple of times. People should remember that the truth is we are essentially now a former non league team who over achieved in their first season back from the conference and need to stabalise. We have no devine right to be anywhere so get behind the team and the manager and maybe, just maybe, you will help the team to progress.

I applaud the sentiments, but disagree about being a non-league team as a. we were down there for one season and b. the squad did not change that much from L2. It's not so much believing that we should walk the division, it's we should not be stumbling along in the relegation zone, and this is tempered by inactivity on the stadium and training ground.

History tells us that dining off two lower league promotions does not cut the mustard with long standing suffering fans like myself. DC is stubborn, intelligent and tactically inept (at times) does not listen to others bit like Mrs May ploughs on like BREXIT and his new projects. Infrastructure of having a poor summer on the recruitment front and Payne being a last minute panic buy after the departure of Harrison has found us out. The total lack of goals from Nichols has been embarrassing and should the worst happen it will be DC's legacy. Few will remember winning at Wembley on pens more will say we failed to kick on after the second promotion.

How many clubs immediately kick on after back to back promotions from the conference? I suspect that many of the dissenters would have been quite happy if they were told on day one of the conference season that we would get two immediate promotions and then a mid table league one finish followed by a dissapointing start to the following season.

DC is safe... you need owners that actually give a sh&t about our league position to take action.

Sorry Mr Payter but under doctors orders I have to stay indoors during cold damp evenings due to a chest infection so my opinion on fans booing isn’t valid but they are still twats.

It's not just a blip though is it, over the last 30+ games we've had relegation form, yet we keep doing the exact same things. We've got serious problems that need addressing, to pretend that things will somehow turn themselves around is just wishful thinking. Sure, we aren't getting smashed every week, but we keep losing just the same.

Or you could say, but for Charltons 93rd minute goal last weekend, every single one of our 11 losses would have been by a single goal?! 1-0 or 2-1. We certainly haven’t been setting the world alight ourselves, but I’m still Yet to see us get hammered by way of scoreline or performance. That’s having played 5 of the current top 6 as well. Fine margins, story of the season.

Our players play like they think they're not allowed to win. Which is their issue, though the manager is paid to deal with this. There doesn't appear to be healthy competition for places as he keeps changing the starting line-up. Where is Broadbent? Obsessive changing the team shows massive naivety and over confidence that it wouldn't have a detrimental affect.

I don’t understand this not shooting outside the box malarkey and trying to walk it in. We are in desperate need of a decent striker and someone to create the chances.

Great, hope those memories of blistering misses comfort you next season when you are watching us play Cheltenham, Forest Green Criminals and Salford, because, unless we deal with our problems on the pitch, that's what's going to be happening.
