Marginally Rovers related but over the years many Pubs surrounding and beyond our multifarious grounds became known as 'Rovers' pups. The White Swan, the Black Swan (See below) and The Dolphin Inn in Bath were a few I frequented. (as well as many others) Being a real ale lover my all time favourite for a pre-game drink (or five) was The Old Fox during the Eastville days. Packed, smelly, smokey but the beer was pure nectar. As like many pubs The Old Fox is no more. It was the first pub directly owned by the then fledgling Campaign for Real Ale (CAMERA) so a bit of history is gone too. Anyone else recall The Old Fox?

Merchants Arms which was rebranded a hungry horse in past seven years in Stapleton has closed in recent months.

Here you go, a link to streetview, The Black Swan summer 2018. Progress indeed. Concorde cinema in the background. You can walk along the road, right into Warwick Rd, right again into Fox Rd and see The Old Fox as it is now. Not a Vauxhall Victor in sight linkEdit. Just realised, the Fox Streetview is quite old, so may have changed.

I think the Old Fox is a mosque now. Not been there for a while, and Streetview for The Fox hasn't been updated since 2014, just looked. However, I think that this link shows where the old SC building was, that's now a Mosque. link
