Rovers have now failed to score in their last four consecutive league matches the last time this happened it was in Nov 2002 when Ray Graydon was in charge.
29-10-02 HARTLEPOOL A 0 2
02-11-02 BOURNEMOUTH A 0 1
09-11-02 SOUTHEND H 0 1
23-11-02 WREXHAM H 0 3
At the end of that season Rovers finished 20th and stayed up !

What you are missing is we have only scored in 1 of the last 6 games and only 9 in total.take away the 6 against coventry and Wycombe you have 3 goals in 11 games.carrying on in this vein and we will be too far adrift to stay up

Stat doesn’t look as impressive or worrying when the OP is a Checkatrade Super Fan and writes off those completely important fixtures.

Never really thought gaffney was a league 1 striker but compared to what we have now he is international class. It is all well and good blaming no wingers or creating chances but the strikers have to get in the box and make themselves available this is not happening

No point in attending the next two home games then! Hang on though it would be cool to say you were there when a record was set!

In the last 23 games we have won 3. The only 2 wins we had during the final 14 games last season were against the teams that ended up in the bottom 2 positions. So, that's 4 wins in 27 and 2 of those came against relegated teams. Those 2 came when Ellis and Rory were still with us. We have serious problems, unless the manager wakes up and realises that there are fundamental issues we'll be a L2 team again before April.

When Mickey Evans scored after 87 minutes of the game against Plymouth Argyle on 9th January 2001, no one would have expected the side would go through 576 minutes of League action without scoring. Rovers’ next goal was scored by Vitalijs Astafjevs after 33 minutes of the home game against Cambridge United on 24th February 2001. This tally of 576 minutes eclipsed the previous worst run of 560 minutes between Sam Furniss’ 75th-minute strike against Southend United on 7th October 1922 and Tom Howarth’s fifth-minute goal against Charlton Athletic on 25th November 1922.
The longest gap between League goals scored by Rovers away from home is 689 minutes from Chris Lines’ 56th minute goal at Charlton in November 2009 to Jo Kuffour’s strike after 25 minutes at Swindon Town in March 2010; this beat 646 minutes from Kevin Gall’s 38th-minute goal at Lincoln in September 2001 to Martin Cameron’s 54th-minute penalty at Rushden that December and the 580 minutes from Steve White’s goal after 35 minutes at Bolton Wanderers in February 1986 to Trevor Morgan’s 75th-minute strike at Bury that April.

I'm pretty sure we went years without scoring a league goal....1939-1945 ish.
Ok, we aren't scoring much but at least we are getting some matches with gilt edged chances. I would be more worried if that wasn't the case.
And we hit woodwork and getting goals disallowed.
There's something to work with..

Don't say that, Higgs will be straight on to the EFL insisting that Wycombe get relegated and the 14~15 season is replayed because we hit the post more often than they did.
