Hi everyone. We have now raised over £11,000! If we can get a few more members we would like to enter the 1883 Shirt Sponsorship Draw, if we should happen to win we would consider the idea of no sponsorship logo on the shirt which would be quite unique. If we don't win, well at least the club get some more dosh and we get a Hospitality Package to give away as a prize! Thanks for reading. UTG Fantastic news Jon, what a brilliant idea you came up with (now, now, stop blushing) to raise money through the fans of the old Official forum but now supported by members of this forum and Gaschat. At £10 per year it's an absolute bargain taking into account the potential prizes on offer and the various social occasions that have been organised by the FFSC. So if you have not become a member yet have a read of the posts at the beginning of this thread on page 1 to find out more and then make your donation. There is no involvement by the club in this venture it is completely run voluntarily by members of the forums and all decisions concerning how the money is spent are made by members of the Fans Forum. Is that a good enough plug Jon ? Would be fabulous if we could get enough for the 1883 Shirt Sponsorship draw, I hope that would still leave enough to continue sponsoring individual players shirts though but carry on the good work Jon. UTFFSC and UTG !!! 'Bridgey'

Very happy to confirm we are Official Shirt Sponsors for new loan signing Chris Lines Also, we have signed up half a dozen new members over the weekend as a result of our appeal to raise enough to enter the 1883 Draw, which could give us the chance to be Official team Sponsors next season and the possibility we could decide to have NO SPONSOR NAME on the shirts, or maybe "FFS" which let's be honest is what we shout everytime we play! Please consider joining us for one last push at doing this - UTG! P.S Thanks for your kind comments Bridgey.

Wow that's brilliant news on the Chris Lines shirt sponsorship Jon, very quick off the mark as usual. My preference if we were lucky enough to win the Official team sponsors next season would be to have the logo on the shirt as shown on your avatar, don't the winners get an advertising board too ? Anyway, I can but dream, keep up the good work mate. Anyone else want to join up......only £10 per season.....UTG !

The idea now is to enter the clubs Shirt Sponsorship draw for next seasons shirt if we can raise enough money. £10 donations. If we were to win(1 in a 100 chance?)the thought is to maybe have NO logo on front of the shirt at all, taking us back to the old days!

For those on this forum who are members of the Fans Forum Sponsors Club (FFSC) I understand the £1,200 sum has been acheived and will enter the 1883 shirt sponsorship draw. It is possible that if the FFSC were to win there would be no logo on the shirt for next season. Well done everyone, still time to join up before the end of the season if you want to become part of this unique way of raising money for the club......

. As you may know thanks to a generous take up in memberships and GasBill donations The Fans Forum Sponsor Club are entering this seasons 1883 Prize Draw , the prize list is below: 1st Prize - Home shirt sponsorship for the 2015/16 season 2nd Prize - Away shirt sponsorship for the 2015/16 season 3rd Prize - Naming rights of the North Stand for the 2015/16 season 4th Prize - Back of 1st team shorts sponsorship for the 2015/16 season 5th prize - Perimeter advertising board for the 2015/16 seasonObviously our chances of actually winning are slim, but just in case we will need to know what we want to go on the shirts if we should happen to win. As with all FFS Club decisions - our members will decide democratically. So, would all members of the FFS Club please take this opportunity to register your preferred option from the list below: A - FANS FORUM SPONSOR CLUB (FFS abbreviation will not be allowed) B - BLANK SHIRT (Plain shirts - No sponsor or name) C - CHARITY (we give the shirt logo to a charity, e.g - st. peters, help for Heroes etc) D - THE GAS (a slogan referring to our supporters)One member one vote please. If you are not using your FFS member name on Gaschat please state it with your vote. This vote only applies to team wear prizes. You can vote on here/GasChat/Not 606 Forum or via our Twitter account FFS CLUB. Any finer details will be decided later, for now we just need to have an A,B,C or D please. Voting closes Monday 6th April 6pm. Many thanks to everyone who has helped us this season.

Thank you for your response and votes so far everyone. Great for members to decide. At this early stage i can tell you "Blank Shirts" has pulled into an early lead. If you haven't voted yet please do, and remember vote however you wish to and democracy will decide. We have received 31 votes so far. Thanks once again to you all for incredible support and generosity.
