Dc must make changes and has perfect chance on Tuesday if we are to get a side up and running to face Coventry City on Saturday. Development squad players should be considered as some first teamers are not GOOD ENOUGH.

Are there rules about the team you put out? Not sure if you still get fined for putting out and understrengthed team. If we put out our first 11 it’ll cost us.

7 Players
7.1 In all rounds of the Competition a player shall be a “registered player” of his Club.
7.2 For the EFL Clubs, a registered player is one who:
7.2.1 would be registered and eligible to participate in a match in the League Competition for that EFL Club commencing at the same time and on the same date as the Match in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations; or
7.2.2 would be so eligible but for the fact that they are registered on a Long Term Loan at a club playing in the National League (National Division, North Division or South Division) but by the agreement of the Club, the National League club and the Player he has permission to return to play in this Competition.
7.3 Each EFL Club shall play its Full Available Strength in and during all Matches. Full Available Strength means the EFL Club must include at least four Qualifying Players in the ten outfield Players named in the starting eleven on the Team Sheet.
7.4 Qualifying Player means any Player who:
7.4.1 had started the immediately preceding First Team Fixture (as defined below);
7.4.2 subsequently starts the immediately following First Team Fixture;
7.4.3 is in the list of ten Players at the Club with the highest number of starting appearances in First Team Fixtures in the same Season;
7.4.4 has made forty or more starting appearances in First Team Fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same Club or Season); or
7.4.5 is on standard loan from a Premier League Club or any EFL Club operating a Category One Academy.
7.5 First Team Fixture means the League Competition, Premier League, EFL Cup or FA Challenge Cup (but shall, in the context of Rules 7.4.3 and 7.4.4 only, also include this Competition).
7.6 Any EFL Club failing to meet the requirement to play Full Available Strength will be required to pay a fine of up to £5,000.
7.7 For the Invited Clubs, a registered player is one who would be registered and eligible to participate in a Premier League and/or, subject to Rules 7.9 and 7.10, Premier League 2 match commencing at the same time and on the same date as the Match in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Premier League rules.

How are we ever going to get all of that right when we can't even work out how many betting companies we are allowed to be sponsored by?

Fair enough personal decision but not for me and many others
Harvey and the likes of Scudamore are the worst people for football ... it has become a product without financial discipline prime example being Sterling who is alledgely seeking an increase of 100k per week!!
The reason why we as a club are not self financing and millions in debt is not because of lack of fan support but the frankly stupid wage structure even at our level which has filtered down due to premier league

Those top end London offices don't pay for themselves. And your tenner will make all the difference, won't the accounts look so much better, - £1, 999, 990 instead of - £2m I'm just kidding Harry. Hope you enjoy the games. Well, actually, come to think of it, I'm not kidding about the London offices, our squad is a bit rubbish and we are blowing money on a sw**ky pad for owners to use because they are too important to drive 20 miles to Reading where they would get the exact same thing for half the price, of course, that assumes that they need it for Rovers' related activity at all.

Interesting to hear on Having A Gas on Thursday that Ed Upson revealed he met Darrell Clarke and club officials at the London office to discuss signing. He was impressed at the set up.

Wow, I take it all back. A central London office large enough to hold the training facilities, medical facilities and for a life size mock-up of The Mem to be constructed. Well worth half a million quid PA of your money Harry. Come on, be serious, players at this level don't care what an office looks like, they mostly care about the pay and length of contract.

I don't know why but this reminds me of the type of comedy sketch where someone is wined and dined in what seems to be a really posh and exclusive setting, but then someone sneezes or leans against a wall and the whole thing collapses in on itself; revealing bare brick walls and a concrete floor!

Upson hasn't had the hospitality bill from Gorringe yet.
