After being stalked by the man with the biggest head, curliest hair, and sticky out ears in Bristol for the last year or so after the Portsmouth game I thought "No more is he going to stand in front of me wherever I go" and so the next day I went to the Mem to upgrade my season ticket to the SW stand. I went to the shop and told them that is what I wanted to do, but they couldn't do it because the machine had broken. Yes THE machine. Of course on Saturday I just flashed my card at the bloke in the turn style. Now I know there is always going to be problems when you marry new technology to 19th century equipment , but surely they could afford to have bought 2 card readers that could link to a PC?

The card readers on the east side turnstiles weren't working on Saturday v Southend.
Didn't take long for that super new technology to pack up. The turnstile operators had to check the card, rather than swipe against the scanners.

Bet you're now wishing they'd turned you away I know what you mean, but I'm not going all that way, to get turned away, and miss out on a pasty!
