Anything to read into that? Locks not starting. The other Forest sniffing round him.

Lost 1-0 at FGR. Christian Doidge scored a first half penalty. We should try and sign him if Harrison has gone to Forest or Blackburn !
Forest Green: Sanchez, Shepard (Collins 74), James, Rawson (Hollis 74), Winchester (Jones 84), Doidge (Ogunleye 84) Brown (Laird 80), Gunning, Archibald (Grubb 57), Mills, Reid (Simpson 84)
Unused subs: Laird, Collins, Simpson, Montgomery, Thomas, Jones, Ogunleye.
Bristol Rovers: Smith, Leadbitter (Hargreaves 62), Clarke, Russe, Nichols (Widdrington 46), Mensah, Clarke, Broadbent, Baghdadi, Kelly, Rodman.

Seems he may be off Monday to either Blackburn or Ipswich. If that DOES happen hope we get a few Bob and will make us very weak in the srtiker department.Post match interview DC wouldn't comment on Ellis's absence to-day.

Bath City 0 Rovers Development squad 1Trialist scored Final score 6-1 to Bath City.
A young Rovers side was brushed aside by an efficient and fluent Bath City. Familiar names in the Bath side were Sean Rigg, Ryan Clarke, Ryan Brunt, Kevin Amankwaah, Ross Stearn, Jack Batten........................... Ryan Clarke in particular was excellent, saving two well struck penalties; and Ryan Brunt led the line well. Hard to pick out any Rovers players for a mention. Leigh Gilchrist put in a shift, especially in the second half. Alfie Kilgour came on for the second half and stood out from the crowd. Alfie Clarke did nothing to enhance his reputation in some quarters and Deon Moore took his second minute goal well. Early days but Bath, under Jerry Gill, could be in for a good season!
Att: 340
Trialists included:
Pat O'Flaherty - 'keeper Fin Hay - RB Deon Moore - CF Dan Armstrong - RW? Zain Walker

How on earth has Alfie Clarke got a 'reputation' when he has only played one half of a first team friendly against Melksham!

A player even abused by some of our own number. A player even sought after by bigger clubs. A player even destined for a higher divison. All the best, Ellis, if you're really off up the second div. Don't go to the 1982 outfit. Do get us paid on the way out.

Harrison off to Ipswich to hook up with Paul Hurst & my mucker Skuse. As a glancing Norwich City admirer, I'm gutted. As a fully blown GasHead, I'm more than gutted. Gutted. Like a rovers defender defending a set piece..

That would be Michael Kelly. Another steady & assured showing in that FGR game yesterday. Looks a very good prospect from what I’ve seen of him so far.

I was at the Melksham game and he seemed to slot in really well. However, it was Melksham and he was surrounded by experienced full time professionals. Yesterday I would have imagined he would have had to fend for himself a bit more.

Firstly, thanks and good luck Ellis.
Defo need 2 strikers now, unless someone from the Development squad is ready to seize the chance.
Would imagine we would look at one permanent and probably a loan ala Telford
