Being a bit of a traditionalist in these things, would prefer the blue quarters not to have the white streaks, especially with the white block in the middle as well. Harks back to the tesco bag debacle!

Still got my "bring back the quarters" badge, time to dig it out. Can take some change, but this is too much and there are not clear squares. Not available to buy at the Open Day - plus ça change. Still, bet you next year's will be more traditional.

I think it is an interesting design. An imaginitive one and not just a regurgitation of past designs. I like it.

Interesting the use of UTG. Is that for more marketing opportunities or fan contact?

Don't like it at all. Each to their own but I want to see us in full quarters not the faded look.

But it is different from the 1973-4 shirt! Peter Terry RIP.

Not a bad effort. It's too white for me and I always think we look better in blue shorts and socks.
Come on you whites.....

It looks very 'summery'. As did the 2006/7 kit. Could be good ... I see Plymouth have gone for quarters this season. Odd.

Away shirt: I like it. A bit retro '80s with a return of the old 'shadow stripes' - I remember them being such an innovation at the time! I think the yellow shirt would have looked better with blue or black shorts though. As a top on its own it is very smart.
Home shirt: As others have said, I would prefer solid quarters, but this is an excellent attempt at something slightly different. The panel for the sponsors name is too big, which leads to too much white, and not enough of the top two quarters. I see TG has replied to a tweet to say the sponsors name will be centred on the shirts when they are released. Perhaps that's the reason for the delay and home shirts not being ready for the Open Day. I'm not sure how 'Bristol Energy' will look on the shirts, whether on 1 line, or 2, and if 2 that could explain why the panel seems to big for 'Football Index'. The home shirt isn't far short of being excellent, if they can sort out that sponsors white panel.

Nothing divides the fan base more than a shirt launch. 😂

It looks like a classy kit, so that’s good.
I’m not sure it would have been my first choice as a Rovers kit, but it’s not about me. If I’d have had input, I’d have said ‘too white - it’s white with blue’. One tweak might have been to have the bottom blue quarter bleed into the white to balance things up, rather than having white bleed into all the blue bits, but hey. Design-wis, quarters are weird: a) it’s easy, it’s quarters, clean lines, symmetry, angles, jumpers for goalposts; b) putting a logo across the middle, at the point of symmetry, particularly with set sizes and colours, potentially blows all that to a right mess. The bleeding might help with that here. I met Gok Wan once, btw. Can you tell? Nice chap.
Not everyone can have their first choice, and like I said it looks like a quality kit, so it gets a tick and let’s go.

And we have a 3rd kit, all black...similar to last season's away kit Er, it is the same as last season kit. It sold very well apparently, so the sponsorship was paid up for another season. Another bit of decent business all round, well done TG and the team...... Two national firms ploughing in record receipts for front of shirts sponsorship, plus an extension of the hit selling away kit from last season in received funds. Tut tut.. And some want to revert back to holtbys back pocket days? Shameful.
