When were in the premier league with a redeveloped mem and average gates of 14,000 with a slick commercial operation and a team of previously unheard of international footballers people will say. Remember the good old days? Standing in the blackthorn, dodgy tannoy and footballs coming in the post not even inflated, those were the days bloody miss em! They will say remember that guy with a big beard who ran around all day giving everything and ex player ellis engaging with the fans during the warm up with a big smile,so sad its not like that now.

Have ordered a number of things via the online shop and without fail they have arrived quickly and as ordered to my Australian address. No complaints from me about the service at all.
Could the online site and the range available be improved, well probably yes.

Ain’t that the truth lol back to the topic. I have used the online shop & used credit card on it. No problems at all

On the postage, it becomes cheaper with the number of items but it seems to bear no relation to the size and it's a rip off. E.g. a 1 £5 t-shirt costs £4.50 to deliver. 2 t-shirts are £6.50 and 4 cost £9.50 to deliver! If you were buying 4 t-shirts on ebay you'd tell them where to go if they tried to charge you £9.50 to send them by first class post given the actual cost would be about £3-£4 max

And one more thing that annoys me is that it's very poorly designed. Not responsive (doesn't scale properly on a mobile or smaller screen) and it's strewn with errors in places - you may not always notice them but trying pressing F12 on Google Chrome on shopping cart and you see all of the javascript falling over. In short, it's been done on the cheap and is in need of a rewrite. I would offer to do it but don't want to become another unpaid creditor

If it's any comfort I recently had a really crap experience with the online shop of another local sporting organisation.
Tasked to buy someone birthday presents, from a group of people, I placed an order for a number of items of merchandise for the team he supports. The next day I come home from work to an answerphone message (not the easiest to understand) to say one of the items was out of stock, asking me to contact them to discuss the order, to which I replied by email that evening.
Next morning I get an auto-email to say the order is being dispatched - completely at odds with the phone message I'd received the previous day.
So a couple of confusing phone calls to my home number - while I was at work - later, and no replies to my emails I was sending, I gave up re-assured that I hadn't spent as much money with this tin-pot company as I originally planned (just as well as two of the group never gave me the money they had pledged!).
I only used their online service as there was no way I wanted to be seen in the shop. The sports team Bristol Rugby, the sporting organisation 'Bristol Sport'.

If people hadn't already guessed, the shop was left to last as something to improve, so hopefully it will now be receiving the attention. They can't do everything at once.

All it needs is one person with a bit of spark about them to whip the operation into shape and they would more than pay their wages. No excuse for delaying that for 2 years.

Thinking it through the club should just try and equal the amazon model for online shopping. Quick delivery,no qualms about returns and various postage options. I dont like the fact that amazon dont pay their taxes and treat their staff like flotsam but as an online shopping example for customers their hard to beat.

I have usually got stuff next day but 2 days is the longest I have waited
