Anyone used the online shop? Maybe those who live further afield would have more cause to use it. Not able to buy a mug which I would have thought was a relatively simple item to buy. Therefore gone to Amazon and purchased a mug easily. Maybe minor but still money the club has missed out on by not being able to sell me a simple item.

It's not much better than Santa's Grotto.
Bought a signed ball, it was posted out deflated, folded into a carrier bag with an address label sellotaped onto it.
Someone must have spent all of 30 seconds processing that order, ''Because the customer is worth it''.
But at least it was possible to buy the thing, so that's progress of a kind I suppose?

Maybe email the club to tell them your experience?
I think sometimes they experience online problems, but it might be worth letting them know some parts of the system doesn't work.
The club may be unaware, and in any case should value your feedback.

The missus stopped using the on-line shop because they insisted on charging postage and packing on each individual order (and not bundling them like pretty much all e-commerce portals do). Has this changed? I think not. Remember though - we aren't amateurs any more. We have an army of highly paid professionals on the payroll. Evolution - not revolution guys. The new owners have only had 21 months to get these very basics sorted. We have been making huge strides off of the pitch. I know this, because Wael said so.

Like you Epping, I'm more than a bit disillusioned with Wael. 2 years down the line and apart from what happened on the pitch, which was inertia that he inherited, we seem to be static everywhere else, apart from the debt, that's grown. Time for him and his silent brother to either pull their fingers out or accept that they got the whole thing wrong and look for someone to take over who is willing to put in the amount of money needed to drive us forward. I can't be the only person who saw the DSS stadium last night, thought about our second hand tent with wooden planks for a floor and realised that we probably don't even cause a flicker on Lansdown's radar any more.

Ball sent out deflated, BG, as they heard you're not short of hot air.

I got a basket ball from amazon which was deflated so i pumped it up! Maybe its a health and safety issue? Was it sold as part of their 'Signed Specials' range? I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I kind of expected it to be in a box or something, not shoved into a carrier bag with an address label sellotaped to the outside. When I had businesses with mail order departments we always worked on the assumption that the end user's first impression would be set by the presentation. There are plenty of companies out there who would be delighted to work with Rovers to produce professional quality packing solutions. But hey, why bother when you have a scrunched up plastic bag laying around

The "on-line experience" and the "phoning the Club Shop experience" is as utterly amateur as it always has been. The "paying £20 to sit in a plastic gazebo experience" is also sub-optimal. We appear to have a huge wage bill (that we don't spend on players) and very little to show for it in terms of increased professionalism. A Happy Christmas to all Gasheads. From the miserable, cynical old b*stards like me - right the way through to the happy-clappy, rose-tinted, gullible, and the very easily satisfied.

Used the online shop a few times and it was perfectly OK. Also flew back for a game a few weeks ago, was late landing so arrived with luggage, which at 2.50 on match day I had to find someone/somewhere to store it and everyone was very, very helpful. Just saying.........like. IPG
