Rovers will probably get the smallest home gate of the season v Wimbledon. Can't see much in the way of incentives for gasheads to turn up in numbers considering the teams current relagation form. Can't see buy one get one free on the pies that have come from the other side of the country helping much. Gorringe is employed to increase match day revenue he is needed big time for this weekend but it looks like he's gone missing again.

Probably it will rain too, and eventually we are all dead anyway.

There has to be a smallest gate of season some time!
I'm really not sure what Tom can do.
It's our only home match in November, isn't that enough incentive for the proper supporters? Ie....abscence makes the heart grow fonder.....or is that absinthe?!

So we have to beat 7,908 which was mid-week vs. Oldham. A must-win game (yes I know - aren't they all) and our only home game in November. Our record against weaker sides at the Mem is very good. Personally I don't care whether we are playing well or not. I'm a supporter - so I'll turn up anyway. In fact perversely the worse we play the more likely I am to turn up - because they need the support. Note the word "support". Just in case we don't beat 7,908 - seems a bit strange to apportion blame on an individual who very few people have even met and has (in the grand scheme of things) a very limited influence on the size of the gate. It's a strange world you inhabit kegandeg, but I read your posts.

Oh well, that does it for me then, no free entry and £1 million cash half time draw. I've given up and bought a City season ticket instead.

This isn't how it works, when someone is just quietly going about their business you don't give a nod of recognition and let them get on with it, you make up some ridiculous forum thread suggesting that they are the anti-Christ and that we are all going to die screaming. Get with the plan!

Ie....abscence makes the heart grow fonder.....or is that absinthe?! It's a bit like how (once or twice) the first person to stop clapping in a round of applause for Stalin would be shot: if a club has a lowest gate of the season, sack the Commercial Manager. Jeez, some folk must have an endless supply of mud, and a toddler-like, Tourette's-akin, urge to throw it. Absinthe just makes you cut your ear off.

1. The bloke's been here 5 minutes, give him a chance
2. His job is not to increase match day revenue, but to maximise the club's total commercial revenue
3. He can't change the results on the pitch
4. Our form is not relegation form. Over 6 games it is 18th in the league, over 10 it is 16th. You have to finish 21st or below to be relegated.
5. Once every season, we have our smallest home gate of the season.
6. Are you ok?

We're sold out in restaurant and boxes until next year.....unprecedented....including Saturday v Wombles.
Yep tom's gone missing alright. Seems like he's gone missing bringing in £££.
Any retort back, k?

That's maximised our return in advance earning interest and deserves credit to hard work. I know the fixture has been moved, but how do you sell all available premium entertainment prices v home to Rotherham Utd on a night?

It could be twice or more if it's a dead heat. Ian seems to have a great BIG sign on his cabin in the car park saying "Ian Holtby Stadium Manager". It really looks out of place as though someone wants someone to actually see it.
