āBasically we were looking for a club ā and this goes back to the investment return side of it ā where a club was at the pure bottom,ā
Not a great deal new really and no mention of a new stadium of any sort. Stadium and training ground not foremost in his thoughts, but he did remember the bit about return on investment. With Arsenal's links into the Jordanian FA why haven't we got more of their surplus talent here Wael? Maybe too busy counting money and securing those precious World Cup tickets to check this stuff out? Hands up those with a few million to spare would buy a L1 team seeking to make another fortune by getting it into the Prem - more likely by investing in a new stadium complex .

We desperately need a Q&A session with Wael where a Paxman rather than a Twentyman can apply real pressure on him to answer properly the how questions.
HOWEVER!!!!!! In the interim let us respect his vision, his commitment and the fact that he bought us when "We were on the verge of bankruptcy".
On-going funding, plans and timescales equate to the how and when behind the boldness of the vision. This 2 way communicatiom will help to manage expectations and address the root cause of the negativity and frustration.

That's not the point, not at all. But maybe there's a bank in Jordan who will lend you some dosh at a decent rate, you'll need security though

The Gulf News interview which came out yesterday was a re-hash of the same old story we have heard from Wael over the past 21 months and in my view, in the circumstances the club is in, it's worthless puffery bordering on a p*ss take. He's got to do better than this and we've got to press him to do better. Telling us "there was nowhere else to go and the club was seconds away from going into bankruptcy" is Wael embellishing the truth with the aim of persuading fans that we should be grateful to him because he, and only he, saved us. But how does this fit with his statement in an interview last August that "We beat around 10 other bidders to secure ownership of the clubā ? If he is in a difficult situation and decided to try to keep fans on-board with him by flattering us, telling us he is emotionally tied to Rovers and implying he saved the club for us, then I think the least he could do is get his story straight. But it would be far better to treat us like adults and tell us the truth about his plans for the club and how those plans will be financed.

Good on him for fronting up in the bar etc. but he isn't being as upfront and honest as he is given credit for.

I don't doubt that he's well into it but he does have that air of someone who is living in a parallel universe, unencumbered by reality. The rich kid who has had it all but never really had to do proper days work in his life, just swans around FIFA mixing it with the great and good.

Tote end Brian Williams reckons weem all doomed. Gasincider. I just go to games and try to leave the politicking out now. It caused me problems To be honest Iām not sure if putting a name to a forum nickname is a good idea mate. I think youāll find two other posters did it a couple of weeks before me bs5. Iāve seen him at Bob Coyneās 60th and he was fine with me. I certainly do not give him abuse & am grateful for any scraps of information. I then do my own research and I had much confirmed yesterday, sadly I cannot name the person as it would definitely cost him his job. I feel VERY sorry for Wael. I actually left the game with 25 minutes to go due to both the shoreline plus now being much clearer on much of what is going on. Brian would not be backwards in coming forward if he was angry. Iām with him on what he says and certainly am not looking to cause him trouble. As an aside, personally, I feel that the use of pseudonyms as usernames can make abuse much easier. I find that once people get to meet another poster it makes it much more difficult to abuse them. I certainly have nor had, any agenda is what I wrote

Having read the remarks generated by my comment last night I think I'll be returning to my position of not participating in these forums. Regards John Malyckyj Please johnmalyckyj, donāt allow a few comments to knock you and make you stop posting. I have the ultimate respect for you mate and it upsets me to think you felt that alienated, that you quit. Have a rest then redress the situation please mate. Youre a good, kind and honourable man. Donāt let the comments of a couple of posters push you away. God bless you & youāre family mate

Regards John Malyckyj Thatās how I see it John. I guess others feel more comfortable to try and stay under the radar BUT when someone is alluding to serious problems then I think itās important that we research it and try to be in a position whereby we can maybe affect change.

I feel VERY sorry for Wael. what was is someone else (Vaughan?) said, 'had the rug pulled from under his happy feet?' He loves the club and his intentions are fantastic but, sadly, the hierarchy within the family basically took the project and funding of it, out of his hands. I hope people donāt turn on him as he really is one of us. He was at the development teams game V the Tedās last week. He is one person that I feel has been hit for six, when the family made the changes.

Why not, if you have something to say, then say it and have the courage to put your name to it? Regards John Malyckyj Listen pal, thereās a few on here but plenty on the other sh1tpit of a forum who like to give it the billy big bollox from the comfort of their own sofa hurling insults etc to others such as myself and Gasincider etc, for daring to reveal present shortcomings at our club , why should you be outed on here or the other forum for telling the truth that people donāt like ? Iām not for a moment saying KP has meant any malice in it but others could make Gasinciders life f@cking awkward without thinking which really aināt on in my opinion. I remember that belter Jim Chappell having a dig and taking exception because I dared shout ā f@ck me Rovers this is f@cking s***ā when at Rovers v Exeter when we got relegated to league 2 , I pay my money Iāll speak as I choose. I backed you on my rare visits to the other place, as I do gasincider. I wrote to admin to ask why you got banned. No reply. I enjoy your openness and honesty but many still want to hide their heads in the sand. As for Bri, he wonāt be bothered at all. He is more than experienced enough to deal with the Rose tinter posters. I saw him at Coynies 60th & he was fine with me. I think it makes it much more difficult to abuse someone, once youāve either met or spoken to on a one to one basis. When I next see him I will ask if I upset him & if so then I will apologise though it has to be said others have outted the username on here & well before me. I just donāt see Bri as the sensitive sort.
