I know I will probably get stick for this but the game is all ticket. I posted the same about our last all ticket game to be told it was heavily publicised but there were many who were trying to buy tickets on the day. I got mine today and online. I can’t understand why it’s all ticket as it would not sell out but there you go.

Oxford only had 70 left this afternoon.
Increasing the away capacity is another reason we need a new stadium.

Oxford only had 70 left this afternoon. Increasing the away capacity is another reason we need a new stadium. I expected them to sell out but we won’t. We had the sad situation of people turning up and not knowing the last all ticket game was and were offering others money to sell them their ticket. I guess I can look on the bright side and think I saved by buying early but I know we will have the situation where people won’t have a ticket. Many assume everyone has internet and checks sites, Facebook etc but there are still a fair few who don’t bother. I’ve been using social media much less now and just leave my account open for messages mainly now. I hate it when we have people turn up only to not get in. I also buy tickets for a friend who doesn’t use any social media at all. There were tickets left in all but the East and West seated areas.

My neighbour is going down to Bristol for this Jools. Big Oxford fan. Goes home and away.
Said they are unpredictable at the moment - go from very good to utter dross from game to game. Though ended a losing streak recently.
Be interesting which Oxford turn up...

Yeah, it's a shame if people miss out because they don't realise, and the club misses out on income, but I don't really know what else the club could do. It wasn't a surprise to me that Plymouth was all-ticket - it was announced very early on, and they'd been advertising it regularly since (social media, website, programme, tannoy). You'll always get people who don't realise things, or forget: one early kick-off game, a chap near us didn't realise and strolled up - from only just down the road in Lockleaze - for a normal 3pm start, completely oblivious the game had ended, until he got to the ground and wondered where everyone was! On the Plymouth game, a lady was walking back down Gloucester Road on her phone, clearly trying to get a ticket, and broke away from the conversation to ask us what time the kick-off was. If she didn't know the kick-off time, it's no wonder she didn't realise it was all-ticket! Thing is, we've had all ticket games from before the advent of social media - how did anyone cope then?

They used something called a brain instead of a piece of plastic and circuit board.

Oxford at home is an all ticket game each and every single time we play them. As it is for Plymouth, Swindon etc...
Surely any Gashead worth their salt knows this??

I look at the fixture and you can generally get an idea of what would be an all ticket game if you have paid any attention when supporting The Gas

Its 1866 members actually getting close to the magic number 1883 once Chewy and Bamber join later this week so they can attend the BRSC AGM next week

The floater's who we are trying to attract wouldn't have a clue any match is all ticket. This needs to be addressed in some way. Can't believe Saturdays match isn't a sell out after a 0-6 away win very sad.
