Did the football club and the supporters club fall out years ago and the football club started the True Blue club as their own version of a supporters club ? then they were in the doghouse ?

Yes correct was the mid 1960s Eric Godfrey BRSC Chairman was eventually co opted to Rovers Board of Directors. The BRSC in those days had quite a bit of influence on the Football Club. More than two representatives on the board? I guess what you mean it’s all about quality not quantity.

Here's a 2 minute timer, that's about how long it normally takes Harry and Padstow to start with their mantra about 'if you don't like it stand for election and do a better job yourself'.

Yeah, because Brexit vs Remain cannot divide people and ought to inspire unity! I would like to avoid the ad hominem. But Kegan/Harry/John/Mike: you are a perculiar fruit, Sir.

Brexit means Brexit...BRSC means BRSC Well, that's cleared up where you stand on the EU, not that anyone cares, but in what way do members of the SC change everything for the better? Is it better to keep 199 maintained as an asset or let it fall to pieces and sell it, Is it better to think about what mandates the bank hold before the accounts have been raided by someone with a taste for on line gambling, Is it better to just sit there and allow your retail outlet to lose money year after year and not even try marketing / direct communication / finding out what people want? I could go on. Luckily for you the SC and the EU are not quite the same, or you may be forced to pay a % of their future liabilities, and unless they change something, the bank will be empty soon, what then? One final thing, can you point out where anyone who thinks that the SC could be better run has said anything that suggests that they do not or would not accept democracy?

Yes you would definitely accept democracy but only on your terms or should that be autocracy

Sorry to be crude, but you 3 are getting mighty, fing boring now. This has nothing to do with Rivers any more. I agree, this is just becoming a stream of consciousness for those involved, especially those who just seem to act as tributaries to the supporters club. I hope there is a rapid stop to these channels of communication. I know we're all disappointed with water's been a disappointing day, but the estuarial nature of these arguments has delta heavy toll on us all.

Sorry, and there was me thinking that the way that the SC was run is a Rovers related topic. For what it's worth, I find your constant sniping at other posters boring, but you are entitled to do it, so as you were.

Is this a thread to decide how many people can fall out with each other in the most possible posts? 😂 Back on topic. I can’t find my bit of card, do the SC charge for a duplicate?

This thread is just fluvial, weir talking about our loss to Ox'bow'ford lakes not the SC. I guess it'll be water under the bridge soon.

Not really, Dr is probably right, it's circular and pointless. Time to move on to the next argument.

You lost that quickly.I keep mine which is issued every season upon rejoining inside the cover of my season ticket then you either lose both or none and at the price of the ticket you usually keep it in a safe place
