Is the Inside Track adjacent to the Corridors of Power? Just alongside the walkway of whispers must be near bulls**t Broadway then

Everyone will owe him an apology if there is any truth in this possible takeover by a Chinese consortium - personally I hope it’s rubbish but didn’t we all laugh and mock when we heard a Jordanian family were taking over the club? Has anyone said it isn't / couldn't be true?

Someone has sneezed at No 12 and the people at No 112 have caught a cold. But having said that, you have to assume that Hamer has been present at board meetings, and he knew nothing about planning permission on the site, so that tells you how much time was dedicated to discussing that topic.

I wonder how Wael is going to make an honourable exit after all his talk of re deveping the Mem? How long do you think it will be before things get to that stage? My feeling is about 12-18 months, unless the £10m runs out and things come to a head sooner.

Well I assume you cannot own two clubs? All a bit weird No, but you can buy a prime building plot. 🤔 That's the one we were told today too. Buy the one assert (apart from Billy) that we have, go with UWE's terms for the ground and bugger off 5 or 6 years later. Guess what? Tenants again.

There's still the cost of building UWE. If you were a shady foreign property investor, you'd just buy the club and sell the ground, then bugger off wouldn't you?

Tax breaks? Or if you were a cynical soul, there could be an argument that there was a some dry cleaning going on. Luckily, nobody on here would think like that

There must be more to it as it makes no difference how rich the party that buys the mem is. Selling the land shouldn't be an issue, it's funding any development that is
