I know he is on the staff now, but surely he can be registered? Or os this something that would affect our playing budget because he is employed and not a 'non contract' player?
Would seem obvious to register Mildy even if he was on the bench and we stared with AAJnr

AS usual, which I understand, DC is not saying how long-term Smith's injury is.

Pretty pathetic dig at a player. Re-register Mildy and you may as well tell Andre to f**k off

No need to panic, Slocombe committed a professional foul which will mean a 1 match ban, Alexis will be fine against the worst side in the division on Tuesday, it will be good experience for the lad, hopefully Mildy will be on the bench as it would be disappointing to cancel Jonkermans loan at Mangotsfield when it only just started.

The lad is 20, not as young as I thought. How old were Martin Thomas, Phil Kite when they made their debut?

Pretty pathetic dig at a player. Re-register Mildy and you may as well tell Andre to f off Sounds from the inteerviews that the players and staff are impressed. Or at least building his confidence ahead of Tuesday. Someone needs to sit on the bench Tuesday? Who else do we have

The 30 min watching Andre filled me with a mixed range of emotions including amusement, first time I've seen a keeper push an opposition player into a wall 15 yards out, trepidation, he hardly looks an athlete, fear, I thought Walsall were going to bombard him which they didn't really, sympathy, as he looked so nervous, yet I wanted him to do well, admiration, as he was clearly committed 100% and he made the saves when required, empathy, although I did not applaud each time he kicked the ball like a lot did and relief when the whistle went, as surely most people, a few minutes earlier, would have settled for a draw.

what about registering Steve Phillips England's World Cup veteran winner while we are at it. Or will Smith make a rapid recovery come 7pm on Tuesday

I remember Michael Kuipers, the Dutch commando, having a similar mixed debut. He went on to have a successful and respectable career once the debut nerves were put to bed. Mildenhall recommended Peter Andre therefore I cannot foresee that he will take his place on Tuesday. Andre will be good and the club shoes the rest of the development squad that chances will be given to others.

On the bench I have no idea, but the lad who came on yesterday can start on Tuesday, no worries at all.
He made one fine save from a shot that was deflected and bobbled up, we've all seen plenty of more experienced keepers go down early and have those shots bobble in over them.

Straight red, is that 3 game ban? Just one I think. No violence involved. Referee is reported as saying the red card was for violent conduct hence 3 game ban. Solution for Tuesday put the kid in goal register Mildenhall as a non contract player and put him on the bench.clarke will know pretty quickly if the kid is up to it and if he isn't make a quick change

DC may appeal the red card, but with the threat of an extra game suspension.

I think you are being very generous to call it mixed, he had an absolute stinker! As you say though, he did go on to have a decent career.
