You'll remember BRFC had more than 4 players "that season", then.

Many thanks to you d3d4, cos there's nothing like a walk down Memory Lane is there?
I remember Mark Walters quite well as it happens. He was a fast tricky winger who promised a lot but couldn't quite deliver. He came to us a few years too late in his career, but then again he wouldn't have looked at us in his prime . . . even if we could have afforded his transfer fee and wages.

You'll remember BRFC had more than 4 players "that season", then. If you replace 'Ellington' with 'Tilson' I'm not actually sure we did to be honest. The rest proved what they were really like a year later....

How many minutes did Roberts, Cureton and Ellington play together 'that' season? Picked up the start of Hawksbee and Jacobs on Talksport (great show), sadly I could listen no further, but Jamie Cureton was a guest and having scored for Farnborough the other day has now scored in eight levels of football. The interview is not on the site yet. twitter.com/JamieCuro?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

Scored the winner up here against Stoke at the Brittania Dec 1999 but Stoke subsequently went on to the Prem and we disappeared into the oblivion of the Conference. Not that long ago but the gulf didn't exist then on the pitch-only off it!! Corners filled in recently so capacity now increased. at the ground to exceed 30,000,( now re named, BET 365).Their very wealthy owner has pumped millions into Stoke City.If only he'd been a Bristolian!!!!!!!!!!!
