On G20man's programme last night it was mentioned that Wael has had a change of plan for this weekend. He was to attend the charity match on Sunday, but is now flying to Jordan. Hopefully that's good news. We might learn more in his interview tomorrow. Angas . A question for you and ALL others that have supported the club for over say 35 years and seen the many failures. Do you ever just get the feeling of sod it, I am done with this and the neber ending cycle of huge build up only to be then dramatically let down ? I have to admit that I am waivering & unless Wael can comeback with something that can truly 1) give me tangible hope of a better and decent stadium and 2) the ambition to become Bristols number one then I will take the flak & say I think I may be done as someone who tries to get to every home game. Of course the silly health stuff gets mixed into this but I have to say I admire those who can keep taking the most bipolar club and carry on regardless. Rovers have been a big part of my life for so long. I honestly bought into the we're coming for you stuff. Anyway, before I get everyone slashing at their body parts, just wondered if you've ever felt the same ? Other people's replies will be more valid than mine as these days I rarely get to games anyway. Still, as you asked:- The last lot eventually drove me to say sod it. Not because of build ups and let downs, but because of their egotistical attitudes and blind determination to do things their way regardless of the outcome. But that was sod it to them, not to BRFC. Wael is a different kettle of fish altogether imo. So for now I'm trying to stay positive and wait to see what happens next.

I think I am just suffering from too, little sleep and coupled with Extreme post treatment fatigue and the thought of being former in the shadows of the Reds i very much appreciate your candour

Once a month ? This is the first I have heard in ages about it and I was basically goaded into saying it After the huge highs always comes the balance. I sometimes wonder if the club has been cursed. God, why can't we just have the one bloody thing go right for once ? I need to find Marvin, the paranoid android and get on the lash with him Hitch Hiker's is brilliant isn't it, especially Marvin. ''The first 2 million years were the worst, and it was downhill from there'' But did you know that 42 actually is related to the answer to life, the universe, and everything? Have a Google, it's quite interesting. I'm at the verge of goodbye & thanks for all the Fish @bambergascroigne

I hope you feel better soon. As for that lot, I'd sooner be in their shadow than be one of them. (Admin, any chance of finding a pirate with a different colour coat one of these days? )

Where Chris and me were born in Bristol it is what's called get your retaliation in first. Part of the life in East Bristol Oh dear. Part of your life is threatening fellow supporters. I thought Chris was from Henbury? Still , must have been tough living in the 'hood.

Cyber bullying, picking on the fairer sex and males encouraging others to punch out women. It's not the club we grew up with. When our generation of gas stop or can't go then I despair. As I always thought we had the upper moral ground when, fact is, there is now and now no difference between the two.

I'm at the verge of goodbye & thanks for all the Fish @bambergascroigne I wonder if (sadly) this Hitch-Hikers quote might be the most appropriate description of Wael.
'Only 6 people knew that The President of the Universe holds no real power. His sole purpose is to take attention away from where power truly exists - Zaphod Beeblebrox was amazingly good at this job'.
Replace 'President of the Universe' with 'President of Bristol Rovers' and 'Zaphod Beeblebrox' with 'Wael' and that might be the current essence of our problem.

I am of the same opinion and the lunchtime interview, on points west, with Wael was so very non committal. We are very much back at square 1 in my opinion
