So I'm googling this guy and getting nothing. Who is he? One of the best centre halfs in the conference the last couple of seasons. England C player, knows DC well played under him at Salisbury, I've heard we have been desperate to sign him since April.

Turley is the only player at FGR that I'm remotely jealous of them having.

Do FGR* not want him?
*Blimey, I think I've got used to having FGR as our bigger (budget), local rivals.

Only 19 starts last season. Any particular reason for this?
Edit: One of those games he went off after 8 minutes as well. Does he have injury problems?

Louis Carey mentioned also?! We should get him on trial and then tell him he's not good enough.

Jamie Turley
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Defender Rated as one of the best defenders outside the Football League, Jamie Turley’s fantastic performances in his first season at Forest Green earned him international recognition with call ups in to the England C team.
He raised the bar further in 2012-13, captaining England C to the final of the International Challenge Trophy where they went down narrowly 1-0 to Turkey.
Jamie began his career with Football League side Wycombe Wanderers but without making a senior appearance he moved into the non-league game, linking up with Salisbury City.
Despite his young age, Jamie impressed hugely in non-league football’s top flight with Salisbury but was part of the Whites team that were demoted two divisions over issues arising from their entry into administration.
He stayed loyal to Salisbury and helped the Wiltshire club to promotion through the Southern Premier Division play offs with a call from Forest Green soon to follow.
He signed a two year deal at The New Lawn in June 2011 and impressive performances saw it extended until the end of the 2013-14 season whilst forming a formidable central defensive partnership with fellow England C international Eddie Oshodi.
In February 2013 Jamie was named England 'C' Player of the Year at the inaugural FA England Awards unfolded at St. George's Park.
