Anyway, Cheltenham or Newport away would be sound. Easily accessible by the train, lots of pubs, will probably get whoppers attending but nevermind.

ASBO? Alright 2005! 😂
And yeh FGR would be an absolute turd of a fixture. For all of the reasons above plus the meat issue. Surprised they still sell brewski's! Tinpot set up if ever you've seen it, the Eco warriors don't deserve the honour of our presence.

Awful. Grow up and act your age ...it would be an evening fixture so not much time to go drinking anyway. Plus for your info there are loads of pubs in Nailsworth.
Why do you resort to calling people morons ? Have you a problem with anger issues and expressing yourself.
I can recommend a therapist if you wish to seek help. Vince is doing a great job at FGR and deserves credit in my humble opinion.

I went to a preseason at FGR on public transport about 13 years ago. It was okay. Nothing more than that though. Wouldn't be my choice. In the early rounds someone easy. If a later round then somewhere BIG. The Milk Cup is okay. Nothing more than that though. I'm an FA Cup fan myself.

Surely with a bit of thought the draw could have been made so that every tie was between clubs a maximum of 50 miles apart, this would have created a bit of 'local' interest and might have made the crowds bigger.

There is a north-south split of groups in this cup, but, yep, a trip from Cambridge to Bristol on a midweek is not fun. But splitting N, S, E and W means smaller groups and you would end up playing the same sides. It's tricky, our draw is not quite the worst, Cambridge could have got Cardiff. Still there will be more interest in the Cambridge game than an academy side.

I wonder what odds I could get at the bookies for Plymouth vs Exeter in the first round every year?

I seem to remember Rovers getting Cardiff a couple of times.
