William Hill have installed us as 5-1 favourites to win the 2014/2015 Conference Premier. For those of you not into betting, that means that if you bet £10, you lose £10.
But realistically, what final position would represent an acceptable finish?

Realistically? 1st.

Quite frankly, I'd be amazed if we finished in the top 10.

We will need to win 50% of our games to get into the play offs. I think the outlook for the season will be settled pretty early, probably by the end of November. A mixed bag of results before xmas and i think we are looking at a mid table finish. Would be nice going into xmas without all the doom & gloom of being stuck in the bottom 6 like we have the last 3 seasons. I'm predicting 10th and with a piss poor budget for new players, i think that would acceptable after 4 horrific seasons on the trot.

1st.
Though I think we'll do very well to make the top 10.

I will be amazed if we stay in that League.... Unless of course better players are brought in.
As things stand I genuinely think we will be relegated... I called it sadly last November and call it again now.
There are way too many lies told by a ridiculously awful board for anything else to be the outcome!

I want us to finish in the top 5 but that's easier said than done isn't it. Everything hinges on how the squad comes together and our start. A slow start and we may as well begin planning for the following season.

It will be completely unacceptable if we don't finish in top 5 and therefore make the playoffs as a minimum.

Top 4 - minimum requirement, but we then need to win play offs. Absolute minimum.

We need to be in playoffs at least! Anything else is not acceptable.

All things considered.. 8th/10th. Thinking we are still the mighty big spending Bristol Rovers with `quality` players ...1st. Winning the League by 20 points. Minimum.
