Went to that 1989/90 match at Burnden park aged 19 with one of my best mates and as we were walking near the ground a coupe of hours before kickoff 6 of their Northern monkeys decided to give the 2 of us a welcoming committee which didn't quite go the way they planned it as we both gave a good account of ourselves then for a minibus of Gas from the horse and jockey Redfield to pull up and finish a few of them off with a couple of others giving it high speed daps down the road, watch out the Gas are here ππͺππ» Fair play at standing your ground. ππ»

Never been. My only memory was a 4th round cup win in 68/69 I think. Earnt a match at Everton in 5th. Whenever I think of Bolton I always remember that good memory. The same night would be great! UTG! Went to that cup tie. Eating fish & chips when a group of thugs appeared. Four of us ran for the nearest turnstile and entered the ground only to discover we were at the opposite end to our fans! Had to keep quiet and couldn't celebrate the two goals! Took me a while but knew I had it somewhere!
