I believe he can be a success as a central striker and I'd have no hesitation in giving him a run in the team in that role

We're hardly overrun with wide players so why would we do this?

The decision to 'retire' Jermain Easter looks particularly stupid now.
I think Bodin could do a job up front but think his skills are better utilised where he is.

He is so dangerous playing wide midfield cutting on to his left foot or even firing a shot off on his weaker foot that i very much hope he stays where he is. That said its not a stupid idea but hes not especially quick or physically strong enough to play with his back to goal so i hope that dosnt happen.

Yes all day long we have no other choice we have no other centre forward at present and no permanent goalkeeper key positions ? Rank bad management springs to mind.

Bodin is currently our best striker at the club, if he plays up front then we could never play 4-4-2 as the quality is just not there with are other wingers. I think the huge number of centre halfs we have means a return of 3-5-2 is on the cards, which suits the current squad we have as Sinclair can continue to play in that advanced role in a midfield 3.

Easter has never been exactly prolific in front of goal though has he. Isn't he better in a bit of a deeper role rather than the Matty Traitor role we are trying to replace?

No, don't put Bodin upfront. his position is on the right, cutting in on his left foot from deeper. If you stuck him upfront I think you take away from his game and what has made his good for us.

Luke James should grab any chance he gets out of this, he could well up his game dramatically now the opening is there for the taking.
