There was quite a buzz going around the bar, and no one knew anything, not even the ITKs. The OS team news and report sometimes allude to the odd illness or injury, but wrote nothing. DC hides injuries, but it almost made some think Ellis was on his way, that's not credible to me. Rolled his ankle in training Diplomatically put!

I think that part of the problem was that Taylor had to run around a lot to compensate for how utterly woeful Gaffney was on Saturday. It makes the decision not to play Jamma again all the more baffling.
When fit, I'd like to see a forward pairing of Taylor and Harrison for the rest of the season, in much the same way that Lines and Ollie Clarke should be the first choice for central midfield.

Did anyone think that Matty looked disinterested yesterday? Finished his goal well granted, but to me he seemed to be wondering about wandering... I think the same thing about my missus after lovemaking. It's as if she's thinking of someone else even though I'm the one that has scored!!

Both of these, please, yes. DC's unpredictable team selection (fine to begin with) should settle down for the run-in, by which time players have already been assessed, and at which time partnerships (which are what 442 is all about) need to be allowed to perform. I hope so.

Just read this on Sky Sports.....
QPR 'NOT IN' FOR TAYLOR
QPR boss Ian Holloway has ruled out raiding his former club Bristol Rovers for striker Matty Taylor, according to West London Sport.
“There are a lot of players who step up a level and can score. But it’s about the balance I need – the pace and power to move the ball from back to front sometimes if Idrissa Sylla’s injured," he said.
“Have I got anyone who can do that? I’m not so sure I have, and Matty Taylor isn’t really that sort of player.
“He’s a very good player who belongs to Bristol Rovers and I shouldn’t talk about anybody else’s players.”
