More to follow on the 'fishal site soon.
Shame but not surprising after Lawrence started ahead of him the other day. I had really high hopes for him and got to say I'm a tad disappointed in this

He's a bit like Boateng in that he's got plenty of skill but little league experience, doesnt tackle or track back, not really a Clarke type of player. It helps clear the decks for incoming players more suited to a league One team. He'll have a great career I'm sure but thats a couple of seasons away' Thanks and good luck Charlie C.

The EP (yes I know it's cr@p) have merely cut and pasted the Rovers' entire announcement making it look it's their article without giving any credit.
Significant, but understandable, he was recalled, not sent back.

Was it a season long loan we had him for? In which case can he play for anyone else then? Really not sure how these things work.

It don't matter cos the future is brighter for Lawrence and Mansell..
FWIW, well done, Colks, some sublime touches and passing, a great future in the game and thankyou for all your contributions..

Lawrence being picked in front of him was outrageous.

Maybe Clarke is clearing the decks to bring in some perm players or knowing us more loan players , he has a bright future ahead of him, but looking at it from Chelsea point of, if he isn't getting games and being benched then no point in him being here, or just a curveball thought, we are buying him from Chelsea and he has returned to them to sort the deal out - my mate who works in the brothel by Stamford bridge heard it from one of the girls there who provides "services" to john terry's cleaner's uncles brothers best mates cousin - so reliable source of course lol

He needs to work on the darker arts of football - fantastic on the deck, passing & going forward but you also have to win headers & tackles and track back and contain your man if you are going to make it these days.
Good luck CC & thanks for Northampton in particular!

Was disappointed but not surprised when Boateng went back to Palace albeit early, was mortified then on Saturday seeing team selection that easily COULD have had Boateng had we held on to him as we were entitled to do or Charlie C in ahead of the unfit old guard.
Now this news and I am gutted .... but Not surprised he has been recalled by CFC given his non involvement.
Throw in DCs recent bouts of arrogance in interview and determination to do things his way like messing around with a winning team and I am starting to doubt him ....hate to say that but its how I feel. If he does not get it right this month with serious good quality additions who will play ahead of his favourites then I think we will be right in the thick of a relegation scrap by the end of February. He has publicly stated money is available but I sense excuses will follow by the middle of the month.
I will more than happily settle for mid table obscurity this season with a chance to push on next but we are at a real cross roads here and I am very concerned as to what path we will be led down by a man seemingly wearing blinkers.

Needs a season in the conference to toughen him up mentally and physically. Started his spell with us really well, but he didn't seem to cope well with his lack of form. A player who needs regular football and who needs to develop the defensive side of his game, the DC way is play well and you will get minutes, unfortunately these PL clubs want their player to play no matter what. I hope Jake Clarke-Salter has the maturity and sense to stick with us when he gets fit, because DC rates him very highly.

Well Clarke-Salter won't be able to go on loan anywhere else, so he either stays here or goes back to the Chelsea U21 team. I imagine he is currently being monitored by Chelsea's medical staff

If so I am amazed that he has gone back to Chelsea.... also suggests things might not have been quite right between BRFC and Charlie maybe? I thought he would be off on loan to a team that gave him more game time ?

Obviously JCS is injured so unlikely to be recalled to be loaned out in January

Wasn't one of them injured when we signed him on loan? Forget which, I'd plump for jcs, but they spent most of September at Chelsea getting fit.

I hope that Chelsea recalling the player isn't a sign of their exasperation at Charlie Colkett not being given a regular starting spot, or at least minutes on the pitch. If so we may have offended them, and possibly spoiled our chance of getting further loanees from them.
But then again I would imagine that the manager had already considered this.

Chelsea will run out of clubs probably if they took that attitude. They are recalling Izzy Brown to send him somewhere that isnt Rotherham bottom of the Championship. Bamford is being recalled again after a s**t loan again to go somewhere else. Google premier league loans recalled and you will see clubs bringing people back because they havent played, or they want to send them elsewhere or just want them back I dont think we will lose out in the future as the big clubs will just move them around.

If that's the case then perhaps Chelsea might recall their centre forward, currently on loan to our near neighbours in darkest BS3, and send him north of the river to further his education.
