I'd seriously ban for life any Cnut who starts that IRA song, each and every time it's sung. Sectarian horse crap has never had any place at Rovers, and adds precisely zero to what little atmosphere we have these days. Personally don't have a problem with someone hating the IRA, they were, after all, murderers of innocent people. Plenty to hate there.
What the relevance is now, I've no idea.

Turn the music of as the players enter the pitch. Start the intimidating atmosphere from the off. Agreed, the music is so loud this season that it's impossible to get a song going before kick-off.

Good. Its always puzzled me that the crowd whip themselves up into a raucous frenzy before kick off only to fall silent shortly after.

Yesterday's Boxing Day atendance of 11,200 was our best attendance at home for 43 years. Boxing Day 1973 (our Third Division promotion season Smash & Grab etc) drew 22,353 against Plymouth Argyle. Rovers won 4-2.
Our previous best at the Mem was Millwall Boxing Day 1999 which attracted 10,077 gasheads.
Potential of our support shows just why a larger new stadium is required.
Four fellow League One Clubs drew larger gates than Rovers yesterday Bolton 16,238, Bradford City 21,874,Oxford Utd 11,790 & Sheffield Utd 25,821.
All of whom have decent grounds.
