Signing a non-league reserve team keeper in his 30th year on the basis that he only conceded two against us would be an interesting mistake. That was 2 from about 840 shots on target

How about the experienced Chris Kirkland aged 35 had a short term contract at Bury now a free agent. Over 440 league matches. Another terrible shout. Fair play, this thread has been littered with them.

Not a scooby doo. Never keen on going back to days of old (Logan, Andersen etc...) but equally not keen on a keeper that can't get into Dagenham's side. Mildenhall is clearly finished, yet some just can't accept it.
I'd happily stick with Roos and work on building the confidence within the back 5 once again.

a) Someone who has played top flight football b) An ex-player
For that reason I ask, what is Fraser Forster up too?
or Bobby Olejnik.

Signing a non-league reserve team keeper in his 30th year on the basis that he only conceded two against us would be an interesting mistake. As opposed to Puddy, a keeper who struggled in the 5th tier and looks like a rabbit caught in headlights in the 3rd tier. Problem is, after that first goal on Saturday, nobody will even take him on loan, we're stuck with the bloke. Look me in the eyes and tell me that you honestly think Cousins would be worse or that you've ever seen Puddy put in a performance equal to the one Cousins did in the last game of last season. Of course Cousins isn't the long term answer, but if it was a choice between him or Puddy for our next game I know which one I would chose.

Where's that bloke that Daggenham had for the last game of last season? On their bench, not even good enough for a team shipping lots of goals. UTG!

For balance Cousins shipped 57 goals in 29 games last season keeping 3 clean sheets. This season he has played 2 cup games this season conceding 2 goals and keeping 1 clean sheet as Dagenham were dumped out of the FA Cup by Halifax of the Conference North. Cousins is 30 next month and hasn't played a game since the 15th of November. Before the first FA Cup game ten days earlier he had not played since the Lee Brown Game. Cousins is also bald.

With Roos in goal that's one hell of a building job.

Puddy looks like a keeper who hasn't played many games lately. I've seen world class keepers make worse mistakes. We need a settled, permanent number 1. Will Puddy won't be it, but Mark Cousins is a crap shout.

I agree, Cousins is probably a bit crap, apart from that one game, but Puddy wasn't really good enough in the 5th tier, so how we've ended up reliant on the poor bloke in the 3rd tier is beyond me.
